Putting Alleluia when his time finally arrives to be groom, I laugh so hard I thought I was going to pass out. The look on his face is priceless. Thank, you for the video, but most of all thank, you for the laugh. I really hope my spelling is correct.
I was wondering about his eye. I'm glad you answered my question without asking. Thank you. Poor spocky is so tired, right when he thinks he can get a little grooming and a quick nap, Bocky starts climbing all over him. Poor guy hope he gets a little extra from mom when he does findly get some grooming.
Poor guy was absolutely exhausted!!! My poor husband was so sick of hearing me say "awe, poor little guy" he actually clapped when the video was over. Lol
This one was really cute . I love how you explain what they are going through. Even though dopey is older now. I still watch your videos . I guess it may take time to find another character like dopey . And thank you so much for all the time you have spent in bringing us these videos n I really do love them and appreciate you very much take care and I wish for you much peace and happiness this holiday season.
Actually seen some yearlings get wound up into a pretty deep depression when they are barely weaned and still the center of mom's attention and along comes new baby and they are unceremoniously dumped out of the nest so to speak. If they are the eldest sibling it's not such a big deal and most moms after a week or two can multitask with little trouble. But when you have a brood like this with literally a sibling of every age, and mom did not take any years off and there is a 2 year gap the yearling can very often get lost in the crowd, especially if a male. The older ones have already learned to be a bit demanding in a subtle way and make sure they get the slice of attention they think they should have and the 1 year old gets pushed away from mom by needs of the baby and interfered with by the demands of the older siblings and the older ones will often do a bit of subtle social pushing to move the yearling out of the way som mom will not notice. Even one that was a demanding infant will find that mom's take on a demanding yearling is not as welcoming as she was when he was but a few months old and if he tried to hard he learned really quickly that he mak get a bit of a pounding from the older ones if he interferes with what they want. this situation can get rough as things like grooming are a real mental health issue and a yearling that is getting forgotten can go into a pretty deep depression and get quite and stop even asking for any attention. You can often lose a yearling at this stage, they will either suddenly disappear or they fall ill.
The grooming is such a part of their reassuring and communication skills. Some complaining going on in the background. I see the problem. LOL. Your comments R 2 funny.
Hey Arroz, I saw one monkey a few videos back wearing a radio collar -- you can purchase frequency scanners relatively cheap nowadays (under $20). If you use this nearby the monkey (~10 feet), you can find the frequency the collar is operating on, and very easily track the monkeys yourself. I doubt there'd be any laws broken by doing so, so long as you don't touch the collar or monkey.
Poor baby so happy reddy skimped a year I believe Dopey is all the batter for it. Spocky knows mom loves him but like all kids he needs to be reinsured .bocky just wants mom to him self .poor spocky in some ways,He is like poor knotty was mom all ways to busy for him.Thank you Arroz🐵🌼🌻💐🌸🌺🐒🦋👀
I would love to see what the carefree babies or anyone of them for that matter could do on a set of uneven bars. Probably take the Gold. I thought for sure when Fify let go of that top bar she was going to head straight for the ground but masterfully caught onto the the lower bar!! Awesome, great catch little one! Maybe tomorrow will be Spocky's day!
*Arroz Marisco* I love your channel, your dedication and knowledge of their society. I enjoy your onscreen comments, each monkey's name / relationship and especially your comments. I've been wondering for awhile now. Have you ever had an experience where you know that you have definitely communicated with one or more of them? As if by looking into their eye for a split second you can tell that they know that you know, if that makes sense. Thanks again for all you do in documenting and caring for these curious and amazing creatures of God. P.S. Almost forgot, do you know, do they make nests at night like some other primates do, and if they do, would you ever be able to get one filmed? Without getting off the ground, no need for any heroics. :) This next comment is probably silly so please forgive me in advance. Since these guys are so habituated and stay in a relatively local area... I wonder if a simple form of a shelter were provided, like we do for birds with bird houses, if any of them would take advantage of such a structure, if for nothing more than to get out of the rain.
I think some of them recognise me and are friendly with me - Vivy is notorious for trying to climb on to me, leaving hand prints on my apparel. I think they might have a few favourite trees to sleep at night but they don't seem to sleep inside any man-made structures inside the park.
Sorry to say that there is no one lika a loving mother. Good wives and mothers cannot be replaced. A good father will be remembered forever. Enjoy the memories. There is nothing like it. Young man. No crying accepted you are the beginning of a new beginning. You are now a patriarch. Stand up! Here we go.
Baby you are sad but you are strong. Use your strength to build a life that you and your family is worthy of. Come on little young strong one. Do it! There is a strong functioning unit there. Do your part. Support.use your strength. Do your part. Go ahead. Listen to good advice and wisdom. Grow up before your time. Sorry life is not fair but keep on keeping on.
Hi, Arroz this spocky'story make me laugh and really feel pity on spocky too. That is nature. However I alwals love all babies monkeies, cos they are soooo cuteee.
Tonya I think you are correct. His ear and his foot was bloody as well. If he hit his head he might have a concussion which seeing him not take a nap and keep on the move makes me happy. Going to sleep with a concussion is a bad thing. Must a tough being a young Monkey. So many things to learn, so many rules about the family and the troop, then Mother Nature herself teaches lessons too. Like Gravity which can really sting.
Poor spocky just wants some momma time and grooming. Don't worry spocky your little brat brothers day is coming and he will see what it feels like to not be the center of attention I'm a little concerned spocky seems like he doesn't feel well and needs mommy to comfort him.
