looks good... just a thought, the box could be turned around the other way (180 degrees). it would still leave enough room to get into it from both sides. that would get it much closer to the runaway. just a thought, :)
you can also use "closetmaid shelf" a small one will work. I am picking up my camper around july 10 and have a pile of stuff to add to it, will show you later
Great idea Kevin. I’m gonna do the same thing with mine except I’m going to buy a hitch rack from Harbor freight. There’s going to be one on the front from the factory but I’ll add another one on the back so I can put a big box like this. If I knew how to weld Or at least had my own welder, I would make something like yours. The interior shelving and storage is what I’m curious to see from you. I definitely am going to add some upper shelving in the front and possibly one in the back above our heads. Maybe have that a kitchen that will slide out or something since I’ll have the back door. Do you think that’s possible?

Looks like you have everything nicely where you want it to be. I realize this video is 5 yrs old. Gotta ask, where did you get those rain guards over your side windows? They look great! Do you remember who manufactured them and a part # for them? Also, are those side windows the one's that come with the trailer when it was purchased? Thankyou for sharing your ideas and safe travels.
I noticed two clip on fans probably runs off power socket. Instead of those get the turbo fans at a truck stop. I use those on the road driving in my dually hauling & they are much better then those you have & very light draw to any battery. I can run mine 15 hours straight & does not drain battery where it will not start. You will get much better air flow & can control the amount of airflow you want with a turbo fan.
I realize I am just a crazy woman but I was wondering why you have these plastic type containers on the front and back instead of using metal boxes with locks like they put on work trucks. You did say something about that maybe the 4 clamps would hold the solar panels but my question is why you didn't put 3 or 4 clamps on each side to make them more secure when the wind is hitting them while traveling. My ex said I always saw what was wrong or always saw a problem when he worked on things so guess I haven't changed! Ha
It's too bad they couldn't make those boxes to open to the right? That would be the perfect solution to keeping the box a little closer to the camper, not so much space in between. Good job!!
Nice upgrade! Harry here from Ocala area. You do good work.👍 on my front I use five see though plastic bens. My camper is set up more as a camp site or get out of town thing. I have applied many of you ideals but with my own modifications. I On the back I have a bike rack with a covered power strip electric tie as fasteners. Drilled a holes the same size as the power cord and connected to inside power. Now I can control my flood lifts from inside or out. You have great ideals, keep them coming. 👏
