I've listened to this version multiple times and it's my favorite (the video version is very good too!). The other versions are more up tempo for her audience and fans. In this version she is singing from her heart and soul; crying out to her dad! (nobody's right, nobody's wrong, we both lose the fight, we both feel we won). The video of her wedding was so sad seeing her walk down the isle without her dad. Hey, I just discovered Morissette 6 weeks ago; listened to many-many of her song and watch over 2000+ reaction videos (great being retired).

I absolutely 💯 in agreement with you Tommy that Dave and Morissette is the perfect team. The musical artistry they produce together is truly incredible and phenomenal. I’m very taken by how musically talented Dave Lamar is. Not only does he do the mixing but he’s behind nearly all their camera shoots. Their musical journey together has really just begun. Cannot wait for what their future holds. The old saying “The sky is the limit”! I believe they will not only reach the sky but reach through to the universe! They have literally done a cover of their own original song and made it even better with the choice of only using the piano and the cello mastered in with Morissette’s phenomenal voice. Wow the original Video was very emotional, this is so much more, the arrangement with that beautiful chello giving Support to Mori's beautiful voice, you could hear the pain, I love it when Mori has the Support of the piano like in Could You be messiah, I just love when Mori sings with one Instrument when it comes to sad Songs, but Mori just sings with everything she has like here she can put even more emotion into her Performance, now the original arrangement was great but this almost made me cry.
That was beautiful. I love the little squeaks her voice makes when she hits some of those high notes. I agree that hearing her sing acapella would be amazing. Although the cello in this song is just so SO beautiful with Mori's vocals.

Her VOICE MAN !!!!!!! Just a gift from heaven. With all the trash on the airwaves today and what the industry has been pumping out it’s so refreshing and hopeful that a voice like this still exists. I stopped caring that she isn’t famous here in the USA which was ALL I cared about 3 years ago but now I am just so happy and fortunate to have found her and can get amazing vocals like this consistently week after week.
love all her songs esp her live chill home performance while playing the organ like Bleeding love, bohemian rhapsody, No More Tears. We see her raw excellent talent , bublly personality while she is having fun & giving us more reason to her & her music.
One performance I would love someone to react too is her rendition of SAMMY DAVIS JR's song called SWAY at the VENICE GRAND CANAL live concert, I have not seen one reactor come across this brilliant performance, it's really too good to miss 🇬🇧🔥👌❤️.

Mori is too classy to speak ill of her father. Although we may never really fullly understand the situation, I am so glad that Mori has been open enough that we know there is an issue and we can pray for Mori and Dave and the family. I think the best we can do is to leave it in God's hands and continue to love and support Mori as we all do. A lot of times when you see someone's true character on display it is not such a pretty thing. But with Mori, when we see her true character as we do here, what a beatiful thing it is.
It's kinda very hard for her or for anyone else knowing your parents still alive but you can't talk or get near them because they're mad at you coz you fell in love with a guy they thought not good for you. Must be very painful for her that she couldn't hug them and not express anymore how much she love them!
As a parent, I understand how her father feels. Maybe he really thought Dave would be bad for Mori. But there comes a time when you set aside hurt feelings, disappointment and pride and open your eyes. He's a very good influence on her. He has made her into a better artist, empowered her. He fully supports her. He has submerged his own wants to let her fly. If he can't see that, then pride is keeping him from his child.

Hey Tommy! It's hard to pick just one performance of Mori, live or otherwise. This one just hits harder than the other versions of this song because you can hear and see her pain and vulnerability in her voice and expressions hence the tears in the end.
