Morning Again 

It’s morning again, a sparkling new day,
The shadows of yesterday rolling away,
We’ve weathered the storm, we’ve stayed in the fight,
Time to shake off the darkness and dance in the light.
It’s morning again.
The world comes alive with a tick of the clock
Time to make your selection, pick the right box
Vote with your pencil, not with your feet
For competence and decency, not greed or deceit

On the eastern horizon, a faint glow of hope
They tied their own noose, we just pulled on the rope
At last, the winds of change have changed direction
Away from hate and poverty, corruption and deception

Remember the loved ones we lost on the way
