Morning Funk with Friends: Muskrat, Hyraceum & Skunk 

I have a skunk that lives in my yard.. If a skunk is calm it has a sweet, good quality cannabis like skunk smell. Now if say a dog was to make that same skunk feel threatened, it would spray, then it smells like tires are burning in your nose. It is so strong it creeps through the walls of a house. I just wanted to let people know that the smell of a skunk isn't always unpleasant

I recently had the misfortune of discovering oud. It was love at first sniff and now I spend my days sneaking in whiffs of my wrist throughout the day like a junkie. It might as well be cocaine given the prices. When I put on anything that doesn't have oud in it I instantly regret it. I look forward to showers so I can reapply more oud. What's wrong with me?

Comme des Garçons have very hard-to-find every day scent concepts. Synthetic is not always something cheap or bad but just a different approach to something that may be hard to achieve with natural extractions. Is like painting with an illustration tablet and with pencils. Both make artists but each have a different technique and approach to the goal of the illustrator. Ensar's laugh hehe. Reminds me Mickey a bit. Funny. Good that you're usually pranking those you know into new experiences that enrich their perception of perfumery. This character of Oud scent chemistry is very interesting. Humans are just balls of water that came from the ocean adapting and absorbing everything around until they made their shelters to live. Everything around is what makes what is inside, but sadly and lethally, humans separated what makes them so unique in the world from their nature. As Tarkovsky said, "Mankind has hurried to protect the body and has given no thought to protecting the soul." The materialism, narcissism, ignorance and all that is the opposite of what humans should become as a kind of life in universe became our death bed. Instead of using those with a highlitened sensibility pointing out these lions outside of the caves and inside them too, for improvement of humanity, just as Oud resin, we drug, numb, ignore, judge or kill those who do it. If we are a forest, instead of healing each trees collectively, we are slicing them for money and an empty sense of superiority because of ignorance and negligence. The Oud in our society is dry, intoxicated, suffocated, hanged or jumping from buildings or numbed with drugs just to fit into a very disfuncional and self destructive jungle filled with threats that instead of being isolated or avoided, are praised and promoted. When we understand that all inside is all around, and that most around is terribly tainted by ignorance and the hazards of materialism and negligence, it might be too late. Is too late already. Natural oud scent is also great for easing the symptoms of PTSD. We just ignore how close we are from all the other living things in the world because we serve money instead of wisdom.

Animalics are my favorite in perfume I have some skunk oil thanks to Russian Adam and that is one of the toughest animalic I have ever smelled straight... whooooooo 🦨
