This is my first time doing your morning anxiety yoga video. I have 2 thoughts I want to contribute. It's morning time so we have to be gentle with older bodies. You go so fast that by the time I'm getting into form you're two movements down the line. I'm afraid I'll get an injury by going too fast and not tuning into my body.
Thank you for this beautiful practice. I often wake up with anxiety and this was a lovely way to calm my system while getting my body moving. Will be adding this to my regular routine :)
Thanks for sharing your practice Malia and all the work you do! I was wondering, do you drink coffee in the morning?? I saw your mug on the floor that's why I'm asking. I find that when I do my anxiety is a bit worse than when I don't. Even at night I feel more "in my head" than usual. I appreciate your insight :) Happy Holidays!
Nico Real the caffeine affects my anxiety so much that I had to give up coffee years ago! Now I just usually drink hot herbal tea or highly decaffeinated coffee. The Swiss water process of decaffeination takes out 99% of the caffeine and I've done okay with finding brands that use that process. That way I still get the taste without the jitters! 🙈 happy holidays!!!
