I also have a Bumblebee ball python and he's such a shy sweetheart. I was aware of his slight wobble, but I chose him because I also have a neurological autoimmune disease myself and he deserves a chance too.

Ugh I love bumblebees sooooo much. I really wish spider genes didn’t have the wobble... it’s such a shame because they are so beautiful 😭

My daughter has a year a few months old Pastel Spider Bumblebee and has no head bobble at all and she eats almost perfectly every now then she skips a week but always picks back up the next feeding. The color almost reminds me a banana that's starting to brown. Her name is Lemon because the yellow is lemon yellow. No problems at all with the spider gene she's a good healthy girl.

Bumblebee's also sometimes end up with wobble syndrome which is also a neurological problem in the spider gene.
@BenjaminsExotics
@BenjaminsExotics 2 года назад
@Victoria Little, Yes that is correct, any morph with the Spider gene can display this syndrome although from my experience severe cases are very rare.

Also another nerurolgical issue breeding them with certain other morphs will lead to killing the babies or the mother but I could be wrong because I'm not to sure if it's true or not.
@BenjaminsExotics
@BenjaminsExotics 2 года назад
@@victorialittle9287 Yes Spiders will sometimes produce dead babies when bred to other genes with a similar wobble condition.

Have got a Fire Orange Dream Bumblebee pos. Yellow Belly. It's awesome looking, mostly white cream ish with yellow. I don't know why it's so white, but I'm not very informed what Fire and Orange Dream do to other morphs. Hadn't focused one these morph before. But then I saw that pretty snake and thought it would fit to breed to my enchi pinstripe or pastel calico.

The difference between him defending spider pythons and other people he's profiting off of them. that's why he doesn't have an issue. Spiders can take up to 2 years to show symptoms.

I really like this morph but hesitant to get one because of the spider wobble gene :(
@BenjaminsExotics
@BenjaminsExotics 2 года назад
@JM, The best thing to do would be to reach out to a trusted breeder and ask to see a video or demonstration of the animals wobble. Most Spiders have such minor signs of wobble that few people can even recognize it. I have plenty in my collection and only one of them is dingy as far as the wobble is concerned. It's very rare.

Im planning on getting a bumblebee in the next few weeks. Does yours have any issues with head wabble or anything?
@ballistexx7864
@ballistexx7864 2 года назад
@@DADPOOL8297 it does have a slight wobble, but it’l vary between individuals. What I’d say is to Make sure there’s some kind of padding when feeding or to do it out in the open.

@@ballistexx7864 i have several, over 60, sankes and reptiles, geckos, beardies, monitors, ball pythons (only morph is a mojave) all the way up to reticulated pythons, true red tail boas, 3 burmese pythons, and a green anaconda lol. So i have the experiance, just not with this particular morph. All my animals are pretty well tame. Theyre handled at least every other day, theyre good with my kids. Not a single one gets fed in its encloser so none are cage aggressive. Ive hook trained them all to turn off the feeding response. I was able to turn my passion into 2 jobs. I take my animals to schools, elementary-high school and teach about the animals, teach the kids to respect them, teach the kids that reptiles are misunderstood. I also do what i call fear therapy. Mostly for couples. 1 wants a reptile, the other is terrified, so i can go with snakes or lizards, whatever the pet being considered is, and start with small, lazy, and friendly, and slowly work my way up. Ive turned people who freeze at the site of a corn snake into someone who looks forward to holding a 22ft reticulated python in under 3 months. To me, thats a lot of work, and im fulfilled every day. Im proud of what i do.

Hey just to let you know enchi , cinnamon , black pastel , hra are all allelic saw you comment on a mutation creation video this didn’t the case for you ? Can you explain?
@BenjaminsExotics
@BenjaminsExotics 4 года назад
Hey Austin. When I made the comment over on the Mutation Creation channel, I was well aware that Cinnamon, Black Pastel, HRA etc, are all allelic when put together. However, in 2019 I had been working on a few projects with other breeders I know involving both Enchi and Cinnamon in combos, and I was under the impression that they had bred visual Cinnamon Enchi combos to normals last year and produced both normals and visual Enchi Cinnamons, which would mean that Enchi Cinnamon is not an allelic combo. After I made the comment, I immediately sent a few DMs and emails to a few of the people who had these results, and it turns out that some of the animals were only pos Enchi, some of the females did have the Enchi gene in them, and a few other complications that made me question my initial response, and I removed the comment. While I now do believe that there is definitely a case to be made about this allelic relationship, this is still very new information to the reptile industry and before I can claim that these are absolutely allelic genes, I will have to obtain concrete documentation of multiple clutches to properly inform my collusion. Thank you for reaching out to me, and I apologize for any miscommunication. - Benjamin of Benjamin's Exotics.

Benjamin's Exotics haha no worries bro! I was just wanting to hear if you had anything to debunk it so far I know a handful of people who didn’t even realize it but had clutches that prove it allelic. I know it’s such a weird concept it took me a few days to wrap my head around it and billy just started to believe it too! Keep up the videos and breeding!

@Austin as in #teamaustin from mutation creation?

@Benjamin's Exotics so you decided to shoot first and ask questions second huh? I’m glad I read this comment bc I had no clue cinnamon and black pastel were allelic. Can I ask what all morphs fall into the cinnamon allelic complex?
@BenjaminsExotics
@BenjaminsExotics 4 года назад
@Joseph Vaughan, from what I know the Cinnamon complex includes Cinnamon, Black Pastel, Huffman, Lori, Het Red Axanthic, and as of recent knowledge possibly Enchi. There are also a few other genes that are rumored to be allelic with Cinnamons but there is still a lot of work and testing to be done.
