@@domerust6899 Our man Mozza always delivers even more than our most enthusiastic hopes. I stand with Moz. Always… There are too many dogs on chains in this world. - Dan
His vocal as well, ya can hear the pain in it, his voice has never faltered And that lead guitar part, like a scream. It was an awful thing to happen and could of been any one of us who lost our loved ones at a concert arena. My heart goes out to the families and friends who lost their loved ones ❤️
@@tukpunker yes there is But what does that have to do with this? Can’t fathom that people want criminals punished? I told you. Morrissey is so confident in fighting you twitter trolls.
He’s my favourite artist of all time from The Smiths to today. And he isn’t a manufactured puppet. He does and says what he wants. This song is incredible.
Exactly my feelings when I heard people sing 'don't look back in anger' right after the bombing: what morons! Morrissey is one of the very few artists with some sense and some balls. And what a great song!
"I can assure you I will look back in anger 'till the day I die", "Go easy on the killer" This guy doesn't hold back. More bad ass than many death metal lyrics.
Went to the "rebellion" punk fest last weekend, most punk bands are still stuck in the 80s never got over thatcher, Say they're against the system yet very much part of it, many bands have becoming woke, They wouldn't go anywhere near this. Bravo Morrissey a true gent who isn't afraid to say what most are thinking 🇬🇧
Agree 100%. The punk scene is still stuck in "Tories bad, labour good" 1980's bullshit. Not realising that both sides are working to the exact same ends. Moz knows. Most don't.
The fact that he gets painted as right wing simply for being against unrestricted immigration and terrorism is absurd. Also I am reminded of the recent media fuss about the Dublin riot being much greater than that about the killings that prompted it.
Don't know this guy, but he really hits home with these lyrics of compassion for the dead, unlike the media who have blood and bodies all over their hands.
The suffering these leftwing globslist elites have caused the western working class is horrendous, even leftwing journalists are beginning to gradually admit they don't care about the working class anymore, there obsessed with globalism/ mass settlement and minority rights.
@Jason Bourne it was an Islamic terror attack part of a wider Jihad movement that is growing underground in the UK, the mainstream media are disgusting and cover most of it up but the blood is on the hands of Foreign Jihadis.
@@LarsAgerbk I wonder if Morrissey is giving any of the royalties from this single to the survivors ? I smile at the way he loved Manchester so much that he could not wait to leave in the 80's , first to London and that that he now spends his time living in the States and Italy.
Hey man I noticed the Faces cover as your avi so I assume your a mac fan. If you comment on a video of mine I can send you my contact info and send you something extremely special relating to macs music. I am a huge mac fan too. Cheers bro
@@duality5503It's much worse than that. Govt units steering public perception, with an apparently spontaneous "mourn the dead but don't blame anybody" reaction. They hate us. And they're shit scared of us. Let's give them something to be scared of.
What a song! It made me cry and then filled me with absolute anger. His voice, his clarity of thought l, his unwavering stance all make him a pariah in these 1984 like times. We are with you Morrissey.
I can see the music rag headlines already. "Morrissey attacks a minority." Never mind the kids murdered or the parents hearts who were obliterated when they realised their beloved children & or family would never be coming home again
@@johnjordan7232 exactly, my wife's friend was there that night with her 10 year old son, thankfully they didn't suffer any injuries, but the poor wee lad was traumatised, they saw things that evening that cannot be unseen.
@@imgoingtocountdownfromthir4580 I can only try imagine reluctantly & prob a miracle your wife's pal & son got out alive. Major life changing for many, incedent, totally brushed under the rug & forgotten. But not by this great sincere Artist & his longtime fans.
Except that it's not a song about war at all, it is a love song. Was just sung in the wake of a terrorist attack in the city cause it's important to the town and one person started singing it and people joined in. I suspect Morrissey is a bit jealous deep down they weren't singing a Smiths song - calling the mourning 'morons' says quite a lot about him considering a lot of the people singing that in the original would have been loved ones of the deceased. I love the Smiths, and this song is great, but people saying it says some deep message that there was no reaction to the Manchester attacks are morons. Also Morissey coming out as if he's some prophet that is really going against the grain and saying something outlandish is cringe - his songs and voice (I actually am stunned by how good he still sounds) are sensational , but he really is a bit of a dipshit IMO.
I wouldnt look to deeply into that so g because the writer doesn’t write lyrics with any intent other than to be cheered euphorically But NG has deffo distanced himself fro Mozza. Ive seen it in interviews. All cowards . Hacks. Who actually convince themselves they do not agree with Mozza on things so they can still feel like rebels in their own way. Morrissey is so refreshing. The facts are, the establishment could have prevented that bombing and murder of all those children but they did not. Our masters are worse then the threat itself. They ARE the threat and they encourage the silencing of people who recognise this
Beyond words, the best thing I have heard in so many years. I cannot thank Morrisey enough for his bravery in daring to speak the truth openly. One of the last few "Spitfire pilots" we have left, who dare to fight for us in the war on Antinational Socialists
You know, I had always considered Morrissey to be a transcendent song writer and lyricist, but I had never given much consideration to his voice. In this video his voice is absolutely unbelievable. Hopefully this album gets published at some point.
If you really believe the likes of "First of The Gang to Die", "Irish Blood, English Heart", "You Have Killed Me" Etc are all terrible songs then it is you that is old, miserable and bitter.
@@TheCasualObservers yeah, possibly a bit over the top there. It is mediocre too. However, the lyrics are incredible and say something very important that no one else would ever say, either in a sing or otherwise.
@@richardbritain7435 Don't give in to this spineless brat, he's likely one of those who can't think beyond pop-cultural musical structures and disregarding context. I agree with your original statement, I'd say it's not a masterpiece, but it is definitely something that is written and performed with a lot of heart and soul with a proper call-back to oldschool composition. Combined with the message of the song, it fits like a glove.
@@saintjimmy456 Right, that's what I was referring to above. Apparently the song expresses Morrissey's anger at the Manchester arena bombing and people's muted response to it, particularly politicians.
This track is poignant as we once again see similar responses in Nottingham this week. Also we saw the horrific Syrian terrorist who stabbed babies in France last week too. What is happening to Europe is evil, and our pathetic responses to it only will lead to more blood and devastation

One of the victims, Eilidh McLeod from Barra was 14. I hope she's in a better place. Don't look back in anger ??? Please !!!...like Morrisey I'll be angry about her death till my last day.
And now we must have the balls to post this all over social media, regardless of any disapproving friends and family and establishment figures that might see it.
Morrissey and the band sound so good. One of his best lineups in a longtime. Alain providing excellent background vocals. I hope the album comes out soon. Also hoping that they come to the east coast to do some shows. Preferably Boston~
