Thanks for that! It was actually pretty tough to get it as close to the game as possible, but it looks like the devs may have used google maps for reference as well.

Yeah, Mortain looks very promising, but they've to rework the brown to green textures, open more buildings, add wear and tear to the rubble and fill a bit more some of those empty feeling places; but i like the layout and the different gameplay that it brings to the table, but i think we gonna see it quite a lot on the rotation.

It does look pretty clean, now that you say that. I'm not sure what they did to PHL, but seeing that texture is not pretty. Definitely need to play this one differently.

I am concerned they won't be able to fix the rendering distance on Mortain without tanking performance

I agree, but at least there's headroom with this map. A comfortable 120fps on mid spec hardware would be nice.

Unfortunately moving to unreal engine 5 would kill this game simply because it will make the game more demanding and unplayable as a FPS.

I assume the detail of UE5 would be the issue? I've seen a few videos on UE5 and the devs of that engine say that the transition is basically seamless. Obviously I take someone selling something with a grain of salt. But do you think we won't see large scale complex fps games on UE5?

DirectX12 was always a issue and all next gen games on unreal engine 5 are having performance issues. We will see FPS games use unreal engine 5 but most will fail. PC hardware is struggling with next gen graphics and this is why its bad for FPS.@@TwinCityShredder
