We had it BAD in MK11 since we needed to pay for everything 💀 At least now most stuff is easily gotten just by playing as said characters in towers or Invasions.
@@weaponisdead420 No, everyone born in planet viltrum has a grey/white outfit with a different pattern, it’s why the suits look alike but they’re different for each viltrumite.
Spawn, terminator, and RoboCop all had four different outfits on day one of release each and you’re telling me this is all they could do for Omni man?!
I was hoping for his viltrumite costume. We got bits and pieces like the gloves and colour but really hoping for the whole package. Although the invincible colours are really nice.
It’s his original suit’s color scheme for while he was still on Viltrum before he updated it to be better suited for the superhero scene that was so prevalent on Earth
No option to change his facial hair? Could you imagine the variety we would have gotten if the customisation was anything like MK11's? Man such a step down
I'm surprised by how limited the customisation seems to be. I've never played MK1 so I can't speak for sure, but this is the first I've even see of customisable stuff in this game, and I mainly played MK11. MKX had two palettes and various costumes, so MK11 definitely stepped up, but what even is there for MK1? The last part is a genuine question
@@ajward9112 For the skins, it mainly changes up the clothing they're wearing (this is obvious, but I'm talking about their physical appearance such as their hair). If you buy a skin from the store, you'll unlock all of the colour palettes for the skin you bought, if it's a regular average skin, you're going to have to farm invasions/shrine for the rest of the colour palettes. If I'm right, there's six colour palettes for every skin in the game. Every other character in the game right now should have at least three skins and 18 colour palettes to work with, aside from Omni-Man, who only has six colour palettes and not a single skin. During Invasions, you also get these seasonal tokens, which you can use to buy free unique colour palettes which fit the current season we're on. Last season the colour palettes you could get for characters was this black/red outfits with markings/tattoos over the body, it looked pretty cool. This season the colour palettes are vampire-like ones (pale skin, blood around the mouth, greyish outfit) It's unknown if Omni-Man will ever get a skin, but when it comes to licensing it becomes a huge mess. There's a big chance that Omni-Man won't get a new skin at all. There are gears in the game, which don't do anything unique and is purely just there for customizing which is nice, but it's really grindy to get them all. The only way I believe you can unlock skins/outfits for DLC character's is by levelling them up, which takes a WHILE. It could be that they're going to increase the levels overtime to release more free content, but I highly doubt it. Off-Topic, but you have to pay money for seasonal fatalities and skins, meaning that every character has like 2 free skins or something. Even worse that everything costs about 10 euros/USD. They're locking all of the really good and cool looking skins behind a paywall. Customization in MK11 was essentially much better and easier to pull off.
I really like how the little space in the “O” paired with the line under the “O” look like an “i.” So there’s a little Invincible in his costume design too
@@baizuo_6246the red and Black,it resembles Oliver Grayson, the Thraxan Child of Omni man after omni man left the earth, Oliver got the name kid omni man when he grew up
I got started getting into this game i've downloaded it on my PS5 on Christmas and ive been playing as Omni Man ive just started playing the invasions mode and gor to rank 5 and unlocked Omni Man's Still Standing Palette also i really like his Viltrumite Warrior and End of all things Pallets i like his End of all things pallet since the colors reference Invincible's outfit and his Viltrumite Warrior one just looks so cool on him really makes him look even more menacing
@@capitatecab6049 Okay yeah but just imagine how he'd differ from Omni-man. It'd be like a Sub-Zero and Scorpion kind of deal. Similar concept of power but different execution. And think of the intro dialogue. I'm sure the heroes of Mortal Kombat would gladly lend a hand to him.
Do you think the red and black costume is a reference to The Plutonian? He is a Superman like hero from image comics who is very unhinged, like Homelander, but as threatening as Omni-Man. He is from the Irredeemable storyline
I know the show is a bit far however I feel they should have added the Viltrumite Costume, the one which he is bare footed with galactic police(it's been a while since I read the books) and his King of Viltrum outfit.
I'd agree but these palettes are an exception since Nolan's other outfits aren't that special or unique enough compared to gear stuff. Plus the Palettes are cool nods to Viltrum and other Invincible characters so I'd say its acceptable since I fear boring palettes.
We paid to get him early and paid a lot for dlc.. and they couldn't at least give us gold and silver skins for him and a 2nd costume on launch. Why is mk1 such a cash grab.. its sad
Disappointed he just has the one skin. Was hoping they would at least have his civilian clothes as an alternative….😢 and no spine break brutal is very odd. Thought that would be a given having seen the move in the trailer. Still a fun character to use…
Pretty sure the devs did not have enough time to implent the 3 set gear system from mk11 and had to resort to using 1, you can thank WB for forcing the devs to rush the game out this year instead of giving it another year to cook
