Seemed more of a nod to her original design than a flirt. It feels like it clicks with her at this point, like when Kenshi gets the sword or when kung lao throws the chakram at sub-zero. Then again, in the intros she says she hates it, so idk.

It’s amazing what these games look like when the technology progresses. Just subtle things that make it really look more like a film than a video game. The motions, the postures, speech patterns, inflections, facial expressions. The real is so beautifully woven with the unreal that you could almost really believe all of these characters could exist in real life.

After playing MK games since PS2, my overall conclusion is that I feel so bad for Kung Lao, when I first saw the promotional material for this game I though Lui Kang picked Kung Lao as Earthrelms champion, only to realize later it was Raiden 😂

I don't really feel bad as he was always a sort of underdog, but this one was the most kind one of the last 4 games MK9 he was just fucking murdered by a cheap shot from Shao Kahn MKX he was a mindless, pointless zombie MK11 was the iteration I hated most, where he was a whiny, bratty, immature narcissist with no fucking soul MK1? He's back to the underdog, but one with more heart and less empty-heads like in MK11

Jax is in kenshi ending, so Sonya is definitely out there just not been call by liu kang yet. And theres a fun fact, in the game johnnh was married and later he divorces, but this was his story on Mk1 old comics(writing by John Tobias), he went to the tournament after got divorce and had a bad popularity in his movies.

Is it weird that in the new timeline I want to see new romances. I see the theme of Raiden being the champion and now he has kitana, but that kind of felt like Raiden and Liu Kang just switched places becuase lets be honest with the propensity for rage removed Raiden is basically Liu Kang without fire magic. Still like him, but thats just the truth. What if Cage and Kitana really did end up together? I know its never gonna happen, but I find it interesting how someone like Kitana could teach Cage humility. Imagine Cassie Cage in the new timeline as a brunette Edenian princess.
