I really want to play ghostface and Conan and the evil T-1000 but how long do I need to keep this big monstrosity of a game on my system to play them? 3 months? 6 months? Give us everything now, this game is being stretched way too far and it's dying.

I hope more Kameo characters get some screentime like Khameleon atleast got, but other Kameos should get some screentime too. when playing Khaos Reigns I was thinking it would have been great if Shujinko showed up in the Chaos Timeline wandering The Maze. Some story with Special Forces and Black Dragon would be great. I thought Takeda should have been in Khaos Reigns too but I guess he wasn't staying with the Shirai Ryu at the time of the wedding? Atleast we did see and fight Khaos Takeda though. Khaos Frost killing Khaos Mavado was cool.

If they do a story mode part 3, I would like to see shujinko, Hanzo, and Raidens' sister in it. I can only imagine the story/moveset possibilities.

NRS BIGGEST MISTAKE WAS SWAPPING KUAI LIANG WITH HANZO KUI LIANG COULDVE BEEN DLC TBH

I was thinking judging from new information in the Dialogues with Sektor’s Kidnap by the Sorcerer and Shang’s Tournament and Clones to other characters, it could be possible If there’s a 3rd Story Expansion that it could be in Shang Tsung’s Island and his Raindeer Games.

Honestly hot take but id add 6 actual mk characters before going wacko with story mode part 3. Kotal kahn, fujin, cassie cage. Erron black, Then try and make some more 3d era characters work like bo rai cho even if they go with the madame bo. New cyborg thats an actual cyborg. Calling it that we're gonna see hanzo be sub zero 2 for some reason.

One thing to remember is that the characters' tower endings are canon in this game. So, I think story mode part 3 is where it will focus on the drama happening in Outworld. Shao's rebellion against Mileena for the throne, the reveal of who killed Emperor Jerrod and why Li mei was framed for it, the reveal of Countess Jade and her bond with Princess Kitana. I mean Liu Kang himself said Jade is critical to Kitana's future and tells Kitana to keep Jade by her side at all times. And Kitana herself asks Geras that who will Jade be to her and is it important that it is. Sindel and Tanya talk about it in their intros too. So I'd say Kitana and Jade might have bigger roles in story mode part 3 and both will likely get a chapter. We also might get to see more of Ermac since Jerrod and Sindel's souls are within him and all. And who knows, along with Jade we might get Khotal, Sheeva and Kollector either as kameo or main roster characters in KP3 since those 3 were mentioned in the story mode (Mileena mentions Kollector's race in the story). We might (I don't think we will but still) get a bit of the klassic sister conflict between Kitana and Mileena because in one of their intros Kitana says that she wants the best for Mileena but Mileena was all like "Oh no sweetie you just wanna take my throne away from me and nothing more!!". We probably might even get to see more of Mileena x Tanya since their secret affair probably caused controversy in Outworld. And we might get to see the dragon king Onaga since we saw that in Reiko's tower I think. Anyways this is what I have to say. I do think that story mode part 4 is coming too since Ashrah mentions about Kai being their master. It was also mentioned that Sareena joins in training with master Kai along with Ashrah. Oh and don't forget about Hanzo Hasashi the OG Scorpion in Smoke's tower ending. We might get more insight on that too. Oh and we also might get to see more of Kenshi and Takeda's relationship with the Yakuza and stuff. Kenshi also met Jax in his tower ending. So, Jax might come to story mode part 4 or 5. Oh then there's Raiden's sister too

I would hope so. Perhaps 12 more, six of them being from an actual combat pack 2. Which would also include additional cameos and released one at a time like combat pack 1 and then finally a third story expansion which includes 6 all releasing at the same time

So... no more gold skins, but we can get the ones we missed?... i kinda want to complain, but i missed 2 or 3 seasons, i couldn't get raiden because i got stuck on one of his ability test and im not good at doing them so, if i can get it without that, ill be happy and as far as story mode 3 or mk2 i feel its gonna be onaga, shao, or something, there is always potential, hell they could make a whole new villan now, drumid, shinnok, onaga, blaze, or just a whole new villan like how shang tsung was "damashi" give us the real damashi that is young shang tsungs master

In the data mine files khaos reigns is considered story expansion 1 so if they make another expansion it will be expansion 2 thats what inter loco found out

8:00 you've got a really bad habit of repeating yourself. sometimes you do it as much as 3 times in a video. you'll say an entire section of the video multiple times, in different ways. your videos are already 5 minutes too long. if you edited out the repeats, unnecessary details & failed attempts at comedy, your videos would be a nice, tight, info packed 5 minutes & tbh, I'd watch more of your videos if they were that length. but they drag into the 10 & 11 minute territory & I usually start skimming after 5 minutes & then click away by the 8 or 9 minute mark. its not an ADHD thing, your videos are just unnecessarily long & chock full of unnecessary information.

I'm pretty much done with Mortal Kombat 1 until they include a kameo free mode. I extremely dislike the kameos and am not interested in playing the game while it's there.

After watching khaos reigns story i don't think mk11 story was that bad

It would be dope if they added in upgrade system to the cameos as you level up, you get to choose a move for your version of that cameo or something like that sort of like a play on the character select system for Mortal Kombat 11 but just for cameos

I really don’t get the hate about the kameo system, every MK had a new mechanic and there were people hating on them. MKX with variations(3) per character. MK11 with customisable variations. MK:1 Kameo for more mix ups and dynamic play styles in Kameos.

It would be really kool if we got "Faction Skins" for our Kameos. For example: if you were playing as Subzero, and Sonya was your kameo, you could put her in a Lin Kuei inspired outfit. Noob Saibot's kameo could be just a shadow version of themselves. Same for the upcoming Ghostface DLC

I want Kano playable and night Wolf. Two of my favorite characters. Not as kameos though.

I'll be real, I was genuinely hoping MK1 would try bringing back Taven lol. He's literally one of two characters who were new to Armageddon, and given this game directly references it with the finale of the story mode, it would make sense to have a character that actually represents that game. Taven imo always had potential they just didn't bother to do something with, he's related to Rain and he's cool in this game!! Do something w the dude smh

As much as I love mk1, not a chance I'm spending 50 more dollars for 3 chapters of story and a few characters, in praying they step it up and make it worth the money

Kameos they should add imo Would be kintaro, hotaru, Fujin, I hope there is a new invasion. And the ending was lame though cyrax, sektor and noob arcade ending does add to the story ending

you know what would be fun to add in an mk game. a good sub-boss and final boss. only mk9 had them. mkx till know they were horrible lets be honest. mkx goro who had nothing to do with the story and didn't even feel like a sub boss cause he was playable which dmg the bs moveset most bosses have. same with shao in mk11. and then you have corrupted shinnok and kronika who were both just bad. kintaro deserves a return as the sub boss or a redisigned moloch (who should've been the sub boss for mkx imo)

what mk needs to do in my opinion is invest in making new free skins instead of just palettes recolours, cuz having the same exact 2 skins in different colours as your rewards is boring. as well as increase the production of dragon crystal skins that change up the characters more. and what would be amazing would be rework on the gears and/or skins so we could get more choices/things we could mix and match etc.

I would love to get an HD version of Moloch as a Kameo. I love that big guy, he looks like he jumped right off a White Zombie album cover! The presence of certain Armageddon elements and plot beats would also all but telegraph a return for Blaze. Either as a Kameo or a playable character(I haven't seen all of Khaos Reigns so I don't know if he shows up or not.) As for a main fighters...I'd like to see what they could do with Kai. Thanks to how this timeline played out, we don't really have a proper representative for the White Lotus. Kang is a god and leans into his fire power for his moveset, Raiden and Kung Lao are just normal citizens who were chosen by Liu Kang to be his champions and there hasn't really been anyone else that fits the role. Now would be the perfect time to bring Kai back in as the proper representative of the White Lotus. I could see his moveset being a blend of his own moves with some stuff borrowed from Klassic Kang and Lao. Lean into the breakdancing moves he had in his MK4 stance system and give him a fighting style that flows like dancing like Pi Quan, Tai-Chi or Capoeira.

For me personally Hotaru better be actually playable. He’s got too much story relevance not to be. Plus we already know he exists in this timeline thanks to Havik intro dialogue. He better be playable.

If its like a repeat of seasons hopefully they add seasonal skins to DLC characters..obviously not guest since its like a licensing issue but more along the lines of like Ermac,takeda,quan getting scorpion,sub season skins since they werent released yet

I would love to see kollector as a kameo fighter, trowing his green flames on the floor to do damage per second, trowing a bunch of knives, bolas and chakrams, using his chains and or maybe locking the character in place with his 6 arms

I'd really like to see kabal, nightwolf and erron black as kameo characters. I can see them being good kameo characters. As for no new invasion season and just a repeat one, Id be ok with it because I didn't start playing until late mealnia season so I never got the chance to get the first couple.

Also i heard that it's highly likely that jade wont be in mk1 because they gave her speaking lines in the intros to cyrax the secret fight with the pink ninja floyd can be found in towers of time in the arcade ladder there are certain requirements to trigger the fight though but im not sure what they are I'll be working on that when i figure it out I'll let you know

Sorry but there isn't going to be another season true underdawg season 8 dark dragon is the last one they will be replacing invasions mode with something else besides i just got done playing season 8 and it's garbage there's only like 2 new mesas rampart and fengjian village the rest are wu shi academy flesh pits shang tsungs laboratory and fire temple we played all those already in other seasons so they didnt really give us anything new all they did was reset the missions in the mesas we already played
