As much as I wanted the series to continue on the universe that the new timeline was building on, I am glad that the timeline concept from MK9 was finally clarified and that a lot of the main heroes who died are redeemed.

This "movie" is completely underrated. The graphic are stunning. I had to look hard to see if they were real people. Storyline and dialog were incredible: "Now he's out of her league" 2x was just brilliant (spoiler alert). Sometimes I think there are people who know and understand, cobsider, realize all different aspects/conflicts/views - gives me hope in humanity.

It's kind of weird how after Hanzo dies, the old scorpion goes to the temple in Hanzo's place, meeting up with Lui Kang, Sub-Zero, and Raiden, yet none of them asked HOW did Hanzo die and/ or by whom.

Wow I thoroughly enjoyed this. There is no denying that the plot is the epitome of a royal clusterfuck.... but its surprisingly well executed all things considered. And the voice acting was far better than I would have expected. Thanks for the post!

Also, I'm kinda weirded out by how extreme the contrast is between past Liu Kang's attitude is compared to his appearance in 9 considering his attitude is partly the reason he died when Raiden accidently killed him.
