Mortal Kombat Figures by Jazwares (2005-2013) Complete History & Review Part 4 

These figures started rolling out in 2005 around when I got my driver's license -- I blame this on the reason why I was able to get a jump on these figures. By 2007, I remember CVS had ALL of their MK figures on clearance, and I picked tons of doubles and triples, most for $3-4 each. In 2011 I wanted to drive across the country by myself and needed a way to afford it -- sadly, I sold my Mortal Kombat collection around that time. Ironically about a month later after my trip, the second MK line by Jazwares came about. I grabbed everything haha. But like a dope, I'd spend the next 8 years trying to rebuild that collection I had, but sadly some of the 05-07 Jazwares are just too impossible to find. Thanks for watching! Thank you! MK Figures Part 2 was one of the first videos I did for the channel after Scott left, and I really didn't know what I was doing.....it sucks :D . Some point in the near future I will be remaking the Mortal Kombat Toy Island video and Space Jam as they're definitely the worst videos on the channel. well theres a huge difference between these super old toys that was seen as just $6 and now go for 60 a piece while storm collectables always has been top notch quality and price

@@FigureCollections Not yet, but the MK2 Kung Lao went up for preorder. MK3 Sub-Zero and Motaro recently was released.

I hope storm collectibles does a Sonya since jazwares was close to making her which we never have gotten, had jazwares made Sonya she would’ve been the first female character made by jazwares.

I love the idea! Other than this line and the McFarlane Johnny Cage, what other 'action figures for your action figures' come to mind?

I have a few large projects in the work at the moment, none of which are MK related. Realistically it probably won't be until the summer that I have a chance to work on a part 5. Stay tuned!

I might be wrong on this but I had a couple of the Jazwares SF figures back when they were coming out -- I think I remember someone telling me they were pretty much a carbon copy/identical to the SOTA toys? Does that sound right?

@@FigureCollections Scale wise I think they were, but as far as actual articulation and sculpt the Sota blew the jazwares out of the water. The articulation on Sota were similar to Marvel Legends figures and the articulation on the Jazwares were similar to 90s Toybiz

Well if you have the money you can get them on eBay or Amazon.. personally eBay has better selection with Mortal Kombat

I have everyone from mortal kombat 9 apart from the classic ones.

I know, they could’ve at least do one more series before the line got officially ended in late 2016 as their last batch of figures mezco made were 4 inch scale scorpion, sub-zero, and Raiden.

@@michaelaldana3633 I know because I wanted a liu kang, mileena, and kenshi made as part of series 3 which never happened. I also would’ve love Mezco to make a deluxe corrupted shinnok as well.
