This game is a classic my friend 1997.

Say what you will about this game, but I miss the dark, mythological atmosphere that the older MK games had and the music of Dan Forden is 🔥

The cut scenes here are campy fun but the extras, bloopers and cuts in MK: DECEPTION , are better.

Flabbergasted, that's all I've got. I've NEVER seen anyone make it through this without a scratch much less not die and on it's hardest difficulty setting at that. (On a technicality. I don't count the fire floor traps but rather strikes from enemies.)

The controls in this game suck so much ass. 95% of the difficulty in this game is due to the horrid controls. The fact that you have to press a button just to turn around is the reason why the enemies kill you so quickly. What the hell was Midway doing here? A platformer with fighting game controls? You press up to jump but he can't turn around automatically like in the fighting games that use the same controls as this game? The concept is great but fuck those controls.

The gameplay isn’t bad but it seems boring as hell to just be fighting the same enemy over and over. They could have at least added a little variety.
