Mortal Kombat Deception was like my fav MK game for a long time. I loved how it had such a long shelf life and a strong replayability factor. It was the first game that made it fun to unlock everything! The PS2 MK games are still the most fun for me. I wish they would remaster them or better yet. Remake em(cause some of the controls in konquest are way too slippery). Great review!
Thank you for the review. I tried this im 2024 and really like this game, it has lots of of content. This and ultimate mortal kombat on the nintendo DS are very good.
It has some excellent content for single player I love it as wel I have not tried those other ones for DS i muse do that thank you for the recommendation my friend
Thanks for sharing on this buddy :) As a dyed in the wool MK fan really interested in all things MK. If this is basically handheld Deception, that story mode should open up quite nicely as you progress, you'll learn to play as each character in turn and the story gets quite involved, and better than the modern ones. IF it follows Deception itself. If you're in it for the story, I wouldn't bother with Deadly Alliance or Armageddon, basically same game with worse story modes. Great arcade modes mind, and Armageddon has a Smackdown/WWE2K style character creator. Strong agree the one Tekken era MK 3D game was bad (MK4), had that on the PC. It was only slightly better than Midway's other two PS1 era 3D fighters War Gods and Bio Freaks. I'd really like to track down the GBA port of Deadly Alliance and the DS version of UMK3 at some point, and as I love the 'Deadly Alliance/Deception/Armageddon' loose 'trilogy' of MK games to bits, if I ever find that decent condition PSP in my life (every one I find is scratched up or missing parts
Cheers buddy great to hear from Ya - not tried evil zone will Have to check it out - I need to get farther in the single player for this - I was playing a few mortal games and the running about parts were not great I’ll have to Get further in this one if it’s better 👍👍
Namco did a better job at porting both 鉄拳TEKKEN and Soulcalibur on the PSP. The game I see here, Midway might as well port an updated version of Mortal Kombat Gold on the PSP.
