Thanks man! Full stream is just fine. When I was watching parts of it live I was thinking there's a lot of parts you can edit out (if u want) like the commercials and long delays.
I'm really enjoying watching these tournament videos. One day I would like to join. I'ma huge Scorpion player and I've been practicing for hours. I'm trying to play him as an average character. The problem is that I keep dropping my kombos. For you guys that host these tournaments, do you have any tips on how I can play better?
reo vs perfectlegend was a great match. I feel like the switch to scorpion wasnt exactly the issue as much as choosing inferno might have been, because inferno doesnt seem like the the fight style that can interrupt quan chi's keep out game but also doesnt have the tools to compete in the long range which left perfectlegend in a position where he needed to get a good read in order to actually get his gameplan started and that was his downfall, but maybe im wrong.
I wish Bugvman was matched up against someone else so we could see how far he could make it. Coz he is the only player ive seen that made sonicfox change his shit up and think hard about his moves.. reckon he wouldve made semi finals
All the people saying Erron Black is OP really need to look at statistics. The only one that has played him and gotten anywhere in a bracket is Sonic Fox. The best player in MK AND Injustice. Look at all these Scorpions Quanchi's, and Ermacs making it high in bracket who we've never heard of before now. It's the player, not the character.
+Andreas Fidanakis Breaker = If your bar is at least half full you can use it to break out of a kombo Kombo = where they continuously hit you and you can't escape
Bread is an awesome Ermac... but why he ruins every vortex opportunity is beyond me..... that last back 1,2 is supposed to be followed by a low or an over head to reset the combo and keep the guy guessing....... but bread conveniently hits again with mid attacks... he odesn't go for the damage,..... and he doens't go for the vortex...... he just ruins his combo, almost purposefully right when he's got the upper hand and can keep going to get much more damage, or to reset the combo.
Some really awesome stuff. I really liked BugvMan, I'm sure we'll see that dude a lot in the future tournaments. But man, I just personally hope this game would get nerfed a LOT. Just too easy to pull off some 20% strings and these pro dudes pulling off some 30-40% almost all the time. Which leads to the fact, that most of the pro (and amateur too) matches struggle to last more than 30 seconds, which, for me at least, kills a lot of the tension, the mindgame and the joy of watching, and playing. The overall damage output for all the characters is just too much, especially for the less complicated combos. Highly personal opinion of course, and the game is still young, we'll see...
GameSpun Aye, I get the same feeling as I did when I watched people play Kabal in the previous game. It's painful to see them completely owning a match, their opponent seem so helpless..
***** What Erron Black lacks in mobility he makes up for in mix-ups, command throw, corner carry and his corner game. Scorpion is very powerful, but definately not broken. He's just versetile and easy to play and if you put those things together you have the recipe for a high win ratio - at least amongst casual/online players. It's a different story in the competetive scene and that's also the only place you can decide whether a character is OP or not. That being said, I never claimed that Erron Black is overpowered. I just said I hate him and dislike seeing him completely owning a match because his corner game is so strong it makes his opponent look so helpless. Why that gives me the same feeling as watching Kabal winning a game is most likely due to their combos/mixups that just seem impossible to deal with sometimes. Btw, it's ridiculous that you suggest Erron Black isn't overpowered because "you can't really zone with him".
***** Even if Inferno Scorpion excel at mix-ups and zoning it doesn't make him overpowered.. most characters are great in two or more aspects but they all have their weaknesses as well. In the end, I find MK to be a very balanced game and it mainly comes down to the player. I've already told you the reason why a lot of top players have Scorpion as their most played - because he's an easy allaround character, not because he's "op". Every competetive game is balanced around the competetive scene, it wouldn't make sense to let the casuals weigh in since people like yourself will claim that a character is broken simply because they posess zoning tools that you don't know how to counter. Don't bother replying unless you read the entire comment, that's rude..
It's not erron black walking all over everyone, it's sonic fox. You guys are mistaking sonics amazing ability to read and bait his opponent and thinking it's all in the character. Almost every character has over heads and lows in this game for mix ups. Erron black is defiantly higher tier. Probably top 8. But that's not what's making him win.
I don't understand why Wound didn't switch to Unbreakable when Reo started kicking his ass in the first match, he didn't even get to set up Ice Klone, nevermind use it. In Unbreakable he would've been able to punish Reo's aggression so much easier.
That Quan shi Spam is so fucking annoying to watch. . . . He was almost in every fight. You think everyone would want to use an actually good fighter? x'D Not Spam-zilla.
