Quan Chi does not have a good armored wake up attack. Therefore he can't do nothing when he is grounded. The opponent can do overhead and low mixup pressure when he is down on the ground, he can't escape that situation when he is down and he can't do noting but guess and block.
minijuanito12 l main quan chi and l can confirm that he has armor on ex skydrop and ex blade in the warlock variation. I main summoner and l can do 45% dmg meterless in the corner if l have the bat out, starting from an overhead.
U coming to combo breaker this year @supermansajam? MKx is so fun! I wanna get games with you and get that west coast knowledge! I was the one that asked you about PL vs honeybee last year when he was down 0-2 before he ran it back 3 straight.
like your character breakdowns...liked and subbed ...lol I'm waiting on the next price PS4 price drop until I purchase console and game ///////// given the current roster and our experience how do you rank each of them o your tier list?
Are there any vids for people who aren't big fighting game players? I'd love to gain knowledge about pulling off combos, etc., but I have no idea what forward 3,4 or whatever means. Shit, I haven't played a fighting game in years but thought this game looked sweet but I'll be damned it seems like everyone else playing it is a fucking professional judging by the jargon used in all the vids I've been able to find. There HAS to be a way for n00bs to pick it up.
tnlaw2004 this Numbering system is used in any fighting game you will find, ever. I used to be the same way until i started playing fighting games with a group of guy who actually did tournaments and such. Since most games are cross platform it is easier to learn the numbers than having the person who is giving the tutorial to have to say "oh, if you have xbox its this, if you have ps4 its this." 1, is for square/X. 2 is for Triangle/Y, 3 is for Circle/B, 4 is for X/A. Hopefully this helps you.
Michael0075 have you won a game yet in these 2 years or you gave up? i agree with some stuff you said that fighting games nowadays are harder because with internet and combo videos everybody watching can be really good... but it's fun to learn and play fighting games as good as you can
Would you be willing to do another on Quan Chi? Some strings and tips possibly.. I have been playing with Warlock and I like it a lot. But sometimes its a pain in the ass lol
Hey Sajam I just wanted to ask, how do you know if a move is cancellable? I'm new to fighting games. By the way thanks for your vids, awesome info and very concise - impressive!
Who would people recommend for me to play? Based on the fact that I played mostly Catwoman and Aquaman in Injustice... struggling to find a character to invest real time in to, and am not really good enough at fighting gamews to do it without a little assistance. Cheers
"Resets" are basically moves that allow you to...Well,reset, a character's position in order to continue a long combo. A good example is Cassie and Johnny Cage's Nutcracker: it's not a move you use by itself, but it places your enemy on the ground and stuns them so you can continue the combo you're doing with whatever you want.
