Nice jigs. Simpler and quicker to make than some of the more versatile mortising designs out there. I’ve always been put off by making a sledgehammer to crack a nut. If you are making lots of furniture then it makes sense to build some that takes xxxx hours to build - but for simpler tasks this makes much sense. I might go for simpler bearings, though.

This could be the best jig as Domino alternative. Easy to make and use, and compact. Another jig to make dowels as well and voila. Good job.

I love how you show the plans at the end with all the measurements and information about the bits and pieces. You should do that with all your videos from now on. I think it would be great if you could also show different camera angles at the same time. 👍

It's been awhile since I've seen one of your videos, and seeing this one made me quite happy. As you used each of you precisely built tools to build this latest one, it just brought a smile to my face. And speaking of this build, well done! It looks to be perfectly functional and accurate! I'm making a note of this and plan to build one of my own!

Great project. I’m going to build this, with a minor change. I’d cut a window on the front and apply plexiglass with guide lines much like what you did with the edge guide. This would allow for edge to face joint in the middle of a plank.
