Actually, Mosko keeps their eyes very close to the Scandinavian outdoor garment manufacturers, but ofc do their own magic to it. It was about time a ADV motorcycle gear designer/manufacturer got that idea. ADV riding is an sport outdoor activity as well, even tend to be offbike. Thats were much of Moskos gear comes to it's right as well. Not to be neglected. I use this jacket A LOT off bike.
Awesome to have a kit incoming! We can't deny that new gear is appealing and fun for the riding, gear that works better than thought tend to be favorites as well. Would be cool to see a list or a typical IG spread out on the new gear ☝️😁🙌

A nice review looks like a great jacket. could have been under protection last week when i came off my ebike. broken ribs, thumb and severe impact to leg may have been a little preventive. nice to see you out on the bike, still following the camping scene. good travels for the year.

I ordered mine in that colour a few months ago, but have yet to get it out. The one thing I don't understand is the rear pocket, its just not something I would ever use, but everyone is different. Good looking gear.
I saw today that both the black and this desert color i restocked at the webshop. I just love that rear pocket. Nice to stow away lighter stuff there. i but camera batteries, goggles and a smal towel etc. there. Organized in the 3 inner pockets. Bet a Barfly rain jacket fits nice there as well.
I got the black version and just love it. Wear it over the Knox Action Pro Shirt. For riding here in Portugal under mild weather it's a perfect combination. By the way, how comfortable is the Supershirt from AS? I found the amour of the Linesman jacket very bulky and quite uncomfortable (especially the back protector). Cheers
I really like the Supershirt, very comfortable. I don't even think of it when it's on and thats a good sign. Thomas replaced the elbow armor on his, used the ones from his Klim jacket. For me the Supershirt is just perfect. Very relaxed fit to the neck as well.
I'm in a market for a new long travel jacket and Basilisk isn't cutting for me. Too harsh around the neck and the main thing... I see they left the bright colour around the neck on this jacket as well. On the long trips and I mean long, like a month or more, just after a few days the neck area gets dirty from your helmet (talking about the outer, visible side), dust, neck rubbing. You don't have a chance to keep it clean or wash it every week. Then you get in very embarrassing situations cause you look like a dirty homeless guy who never takes a shower on a stolen motorcycle 😄😄 I know Mosko Moto guys traveling a lot, strange they are OK with that little flaw, in my opinion. If not that bright colour around the neck I would of bought it after watching your video or even way before,Mattias. Thanks! Love your cool personality!
Thanks Nemo! Love Your videos and style as well. Long travels like Yours definitely requires alot from the gear. Seen Youbridibgvin the awesome Workhorse as well. Really nice combo to tha Basilisk/Rak or this jacket as well. This jacket is really light and does not offer the highlands abrassive protection that the Basilisk does, but it holds up for wants needed on the trails. With a protective ballader like the Supershirt or others alike, then this is not a broblem. This jacket holds up against rain alot better than I ever thought. Been out in moderate rain on the bine and heavy rain on the everyday bicycling to work and i'm completely dry under and in pockets. But with that said I wonder how it works in several hours in geavy rain on the road... This also habe a rather stuff neck collar, maybe it got sorter the more i ride with it. These jackets is more or less sold out, at least this color. There will most probably be new colors out there very soon. I'm a typical guy that could look a tad like a hobo on the trail 👀😂🙈. But I know what you mean, living on the road for a while requires You to Step up on keeping the order on look and hygiens. This and the Rak will be my to go jackets this season with my second color of Workhorse under. Happy Trails my friend! 💪🤠🔥
I have seen R80's on the 900, no problem. Some have drilled thru the rear end and installed a Mosko Gnoblin that fits to the R80/R40. Personally i would have looked for a small rear rack (Perun Moto may have one?)
This is not a rain jacket but I'm surprised over the DWR function. Kept me dry in both moderate rain on the bike and in heavy rain on the bicycle. Did not expect that.
@@Braapncamp That’s good. There’s so many times I’ve been riding and it started to rain but before I found a place to stop and put on my rain clothes I’ve been soaking wet. Then after 20minutes the sun is shining again and I will be boiling inside the rain gear. 😂On day trips that’s no big deal but un longer riding at least I found it uncomfortable. In warmer climate or more active riding that you are doing it’s another thing🤔 But right now it looks as I’m totally wrong 😂
Hej, enbart försäljning från Mosko's US eller EU webb shop. De har inte återförsäljare. Mösko Moto ställer dock ut på diverse mässor från och med i år. Bland annat Overland Adventure Expo på Ekerö utanför Stockholm 24-26 Maj, då har dem rabatter med. Mosko har en bra returpolicy m.m. så dem är lätta att handla från och just prova deras kläder/väskor via webshopen.
ADVfarsan, mitt skyddande baslager ör AdventureSpec Shupershirt. Den har samma skydd som en fullskyddad mc-jacka, så jag kan köra i enbart den då det är varmt. Men då får det vara riktigt varmt, kör gärna med en jersey över för att skydda Supershirten mot onödigt slitage. För mig är en sådan jacka (finns andra märken men denna står sig bra) en riktig gamechanger, den gör att jag kan klä mig med vad jag vill ovanpå. Allt efter temp och väder.
Ja bröstplatta ingår. På Knox Urban måste man köpa till bröstplattor pm man vill ha det. Rev'its variant har jag inte kollat så noga på så jag vet inte hur den är. Vet dock att Knox variant är tight i halsen enligt fler som testat den. Thomas testade en på mässan men gick på Supershirt istället ochvdet såg vettigt ut. Jag gillar ju inte atr byta grejer bara för att byta, men när jag väl behövde det så blev det Supershirt för att just ha komplett skydd i "baslagret". Innan hade jag en liknande skyddsjacka från Halvarsson, men den hade inte "friktionsskydd" och då blir den ju inte lika bra till att just kunna använda vad som helst man vill ha utanpå.
I’m not sure I see the thing with this jacket. The protection is underneath, and as this jacket is neither warm nor rain-/wind proof. So almost anything could work, no? 🤔In any case, a nice video! 👍
Thats almost true. But yes, the gamechanging thing here is actually my protective jacket, that Supershirt opens up a world of oterlayers of your choice. I did not had much thoughts of this jacket untill i got my hands on it. It is a very nice outdoor jacket, but a sofisticated such. It is tougher than most outdoorjackets with tougher materials that fits into trailriding. The thing is that it's more restistant to rain than i thought. Been out i rain 3 times since i got on bike, and it has kept me dry and pockets dry. Off bike i have used it for bicycling to work every day, it holds up in heavy rain as well, never thought that. Wonder for how long. If You find Yourself using a jersey warm days riding and sometimes that gets to cold or need a rain protection for shorter rains, this is a great jacket. This will be my favourite together with the Rak Pullover this season.
