Just picked one of these up 2 weeks ago. I always liked the Blackwater emblem out of the Mossberg factory, so I don't know why I waited so long to get one. I have a soft spot for contractors, and hold (formerly) Blackwater in high regard. I did replace the pistol grip with a Hogue stock. It's compact, and easy to shoulder. I really like mine. The prices are going up since they're not producing any more of these. The model 935 id even higher. If you see one, you better grab it up. Happy trails, tight groups and safety first.
so I own one of these, and I love it, however, the only downside about the breacher on the end of the muzzle is that it does significantly increase the amount of kick when shooting slug rounds... I did a side-by-side with another mossberg 500(stripped model) AND a Serbu shorty all shot with federal 2 3/4 in slugs and lets just say the mossberg 500 B.W. almost broke my hand after the 3 shot... now, I am definitely not the weakest joker around, but my hand was so swollen after shooting that I could not make a fist... I still love the gun, but the next thing was to definitely purchase a reliable stock for it...
i want that nice home defence shotgun the black water edtion also a great zombie killer you should add the ATI stock and pistol grip this will look so sick
When would you ever possibly be in a situation where you would make use of the door breacher aspect of this shotgun? Unless you are Military or LEO, I would have to say never legally. Useless feature for the untrained civilian. Just sayin'...
