Thank you for taking time to make this video. I have recently become a proud owner of a shockwave, and find your tutorial to be very helpful. I have a mossberg 500 also, which is quite similar to the 590. You seem very knowledgeable about this firearm. Most of the gun tubers move through these types of videos to fast and assume the viewer is more knowledgeable than we may be. So again thank you.

Excellent tutorial. I had quite a bit of trouble getting the trigger group back in, though you have to really pay attention to make sure both the cartridge interrupter and the cartridge stop are in place. I thought they were and I was trying to cram the trigger group back in, several times, and then I realized one or the other kept popping out. I paid better attention and it went right in.

Just wanted to say, I have watched about 8 fail-ass "how to" videos on TY this morning. Several southern boys, some military (former) and even the retailers/manufacturers. This is the ONLY video that actually showed how, some of these foolish YTers even said "I'm assembling this off camera to avoid the censors...WTF?! I just got my 590 Shockwave today and I am not very knowledgable with shotguns so i was a little worried. When I pick up a new gun the first thing I like to do is field strip it but I wasn't as ready with this one but your video is so detailed and well paced you took all my worries away....thank you...i also gave you a sub 🙏🏽🙏🏾🙏🏾

Outstanding presentation and explanations/proceedures for both assembly and reassembly. I had a few issues with reassembly of my 590S as well aligning that darn bolt and bolt carrier with the forend arms. I got through it in short order, however on my freinds 590 shockwave....not so much. That trigger group would not go in with the bolt that far forward as in this video. I eventually push the bolt and bolt slide back into the action so that just the visable extractor cleared the port on the rear of the frame, then the trigger group sliped right in with no problem. Function checked even function checked using dummy rounds....worked perfectly.

Came across ur video while researching take down of moss 590. U have an excellent voice and pronunciation while narrating this video. Everything was well thought out in advance that a 6 year old could follow. Excellent job, thank you. The only thing I would add to top it off would have been required lubrication points as u reassembled it. Oh well, another video I guess but thank you for what u did for us fellow gun owners!

That was probably one of the hardest field strips I’ve ever done and if it wasn’t for this video I wouldn’t have been able to put my gun back together

You left out the part where the trigger housing won't reinstall and you have to throw the whole gun across the shop... I didn't really. There was a defect in the plastic molding that was catching on the shell stop arm, which my Lady saw before me (God Bless you honey), and I had to take a pocket knife and trim the edge off of it. Nothing is ever easy, lol. This video helped A TON, and I thank you for posting it.
