I recently had to pull out of storage a GMF (General motor Fanuc) robotic arm at my work and it’s 30 years old. Considering how much tech is in it from back then the modern Fanuc tech must be amazing.

Went to our machine shop the other day at work. I seen the cutting fluid they use. They use the Blazer cutting fluid. I asked them how they like it. They told me it's some of the best they used.

At the beginning of the 20th Century, greatest thinkers knew this will be possible and saw it as a salvation for humanity from slave labor, today is possible but the profit is for a few not the many. This technology could help to end with the poor veterans, poor cities, homelessness and improve education. Thank for sharing this Video, its amazing.

A technology like this truly only has one real purpose and that would be to take the place of a real person depending on that job to feed their family and/or make a living. No different than sending jobs to China if you ask me.

It creates jobs in programming, maintaining, and building robots. I do wonder why CNC programming is necessary. If you have the solid model and list of available tools, then why is it necessary to have a person pick the tools and the tool path?

Ive worked in the Aerospace industry creating and manufacturing servo valves for 11 years and worked 2 years in the Die and Mold Trade.... Manufacturing today is turning into information technology bcuzz of chinas Industrial economy...the only way too beat this type of competition is by Manufacturing quality and trust here in USA... Automation will take over....however...the best will last too over see production and still have machinist that can do a process faster for some operations....machinist today need to step up the game and become a man of many hats...just like computer programming...its amazing what these machines are doing....but...they cant get .000020 Mil straight and round ...its a process and am sure robots will do it eventually ....but only the top notch machinist will be there...and those are the ones who learned and continue to learn....Mr Gilroy is starting to see the promise of automation...he was against it at first....the cold fact...yes...many will not have a job at conventional Machining anymore....its time to step it up and give the Opportunity to machinist to be repairman and managers that's why I am in the process of getting my bachelor's degree in business
