I loved princess EUGENIE. DRESS . THE ONE THAT WAS CUT WAY DOWN IN THE BACK. IT WAS GEORGEOUS.

Can you believe it. She saved her rashan coupons for her dress. So she didn't get it from the money bank. And her cake 🎂 was a donation. Her husband came from royalty but poor royalty. His mother pulled out her wedding tiara. And took it to the jewelry shop. And had them pull out 3 diamonds 💎. And had them make it into a ring 💍 😏. So he can ask her to marry him. He did alright for himself. Not many men get to be married to a queen. The people didn't really like him. Because he has German royalty in him. But I guess in time they like him. Anyways he was bored of the palace life. And he go back doing what he did before getting married to her. He loved the night life and he liked gambling, and womanizing. But she was truly a queen of England. All the way to the end.

Crown Princess Victoria's outfit was also very elegant. And it's a shame that Maxima of the Netherlands' wedding dress isn't included in the roundup.

As I recall, Diana herself said, some years later, "what WERE we all thinking?" Granted, this was the 1980s, but in looking back, I'd say of her dress that there are ballgowns and then there are ballgowns on steroids.

Ooooh you are right about that. She is a stunning beauty. And her dress was perfect for her. She just loved it. When she go to Italy. No 1 wanted to be with her in the same room. Because she had TB. BUT SHE DIDN'T HAVE IT ANYMORE. she go to watch a beautiful opera. And all the rich snobs send there maids, cook's, servants. And she didn't walk out of the building. She came down and shake their hands. And every snob was beside them selfs. The news papers Take pictures of the fake snobs. Some of them sooo fat, bald, can't even speak good enough English to communicate. with terrible clothes. She humiliated them and every news papers. All around the world 🌎. They didn't even have manners. Screaming at each other. They brought food and drinks. Throwing at each other. Screaming 😱 talking loud 🤣 😂. Laughing 😃 giggling. Didn't even know what opera was?? .

The ill- fitting, expensive dress was a babyish mess. m's dress was an expensive, ill-fitting dress as as well, only this time, m was an older woman on her 3rd trip down the aisle wearing a sack.

The dress was absolutely awful. Yes, she looked like the young girl she was- but an angel she was not. Nor was Camilla- but she looked fabulous on her wedding day- both a the register office and later at the church blessing.

It was not a good choice but Diana was the deciding factor, she had a great input into the design. She made many mistakes in the early days, far too fussy styles. When she found her way she really was outstanding in the fashion department.

You're right, that was a lot of dress and if she hadn't been as tall as she way, the dress would have been wearing her. I understand she actually did not like the dress. Oddly enough, the pictures which were less staged were actually nicer. She was a beauty.

They used taffeta, silk both of them are extremely delicate and very uncomfortable to wear. She looked like she got into a fight and crumpled her dress badly. She tried to get it out but it was late to late. Poor lady Diana.

Every bride was asking for their Wedding dress to be white. And dress makers can't make enough of them. fast enough for the bride's. And what I didn't like was the floppy white hat's. I never thought they were pretty. I think it was the 80 they were so popular. 3 of my friends had been wearing them. When they got married.

Of course, granny, simple and stylish is too subtil for you to appreciate :P .

@@tanyalg1365 Sorry to have taken so long to answer. I got married in 1985 and, I tried some hats on at the bridal shop but, that was not for me. I went with the tiara and a cathedral length veil. I still have them; along with my husband! LOL!

I just loved the long wail.covering the face, and then the groom opens it. But some bride's loved them. And then they just disappeared. And didn't came around for a 2 time.

@@semoneg2826 yes ,the material was expensive but it creased really badly and the fit was very poor. And yes, it was the eighties but that dress was way over the top with gigantic sleeves and huge ruffles everywhere. Too much of everything! To be crystal clear, I’m criticising the dress and not the woman wearing it.
