A few times we heard "We're done!", followed by, "And now we just have to go through these steps..." That aside, it is good to see that this can be done. Thanks for taking the time to do this.
I appreciate the effort you put in to your videos, but the title of this is slightly misleading. I assumed from the title, this would be installing macOS starting with a Windows PC. As I don't already have a Mac or Hackintosh, I am starting with a windows 10 PC running a Coffee Lake CPU. I know that there is a lot of information on OpenCore, but as a suffered of Dyslexia, reading is a big problem for me, therefore it is much easier to follow a video tutorial. I would be extremely grateful, if you could do one of these complete guides, starting with a Windows PC please.
The issue i have with this video is that you have started with a Mac OS system and not shown how to conduct the operation using a windows PC. Completley defeats the object of wanting to install Mac os if you already have Mac os
With all due respect people who want to build a hacintosh DONT have a mac to build and configure the boot usb - it would be so good if you could do the same but building the boot usb on a windows pc. You’re obviously very talented and it shouldn’t be that hard for you. Thanks for this tho, it caught my attention.
Respectfully these guides are becoming less and less relevant and less and less usable the more you make them. You say "On a Windows PC" and use an already Hackintoshed machine - Also that OCAuxillaryTools thing you're using was found to have unix executables in that tweaked your machine in a bad sense.
Just cause you don’t like an option doesn’t mean you have the right to tell people they can’t post it, who do you think you are? A: a f wit, that thinks he is an opinion police and has more rights than others.
MacOS only makes sense for iOS development or apple ecosystem, for anything else it's usless and complete replacable by Windows or Linux (depending what you need).
I agree with you. I have Windows and WSL. Learning Flutter and Firebase at the moment. I can only make Android apps. In order for me to deploy to App Store, I need XCode. There is MacInTheCloud, but I’m not sure if it’s more economical to buy a refurbished M1 or M2 Mac Mini instead of monthly payments. I don’t want to mess up my Windows laptop trying to install extra tools instead of VMWare only to virtualize MacOS.
@@BokeemWoodbeezy Why bother? If Apple makes it impossible to develop under Windows, don't develop for Apple. Or if you work in a company just work on Android and let others develop for iOS, or go all in on Apple and become a fanboy, don't try to be all at once it never works.

I want to congratulate you on your video, it is the clearest and most explained on the network, I would like to ask you how I can do to install MacOS on my laptop I know that I have to follow your steps, I have a Dell Precision 5550 has two slots for ssd in one I would like MacOS and in the other I would like to keep my original window that I already have, can you say if it can be done I would like please if you can help me?
idk if its still a thing but the only way its bootcamp from mac os, but youll still need to erase the disk, or if you have multiple hard disks, i think you can i install mac on one and windows on the other
Hi friend, I made the same trhings like u, but of course in another mother board, the problem is that when should start the instalation of mac os in the hard drive, the monitor turn of, like is something about the resolution and turn of, what could bee? and thanks a lot for you teach.
I tried this method ion a Lenovo m710q adjusting for my hardware and all I get is a circle with a line crossing it out and a troubleshooting website.... Any ideas where to look to get this booting?
Another great video by TechNoli. I bought one from ebay it came in today. I have to go get a video card . Does the power supply in the computer have a plug for video card 6600 ?
Hi Thechnolli, I always follow you in your videos and I was wondering why I always stop before the 34:38 point of your video? After which the PC starts from scratch and goes in a continuous loop, turns off and always starts again! The PC in question has an "msi z1870a pro, nvme, 16gb, radeon pro w5700 motherboard. Do you have an explanation? Thank you very much in advance, Marco.
Uhhh,,,, It says, "Installing a macOS on a Windows PC!" Idk. MAYBE, JUST MAYBE IT SHOULD SHOW HOW TO DO THAT. Very misleading title and tutorial. Not happy!!
i was gonna try and install a mac os on my windows gaming rig . i have a i9 12900k 5ghz cpu and a rtx 3080ti gpu 32gb of ddr5 ram at 5000 speed would it be supported on my system?...is it even worth it? be cool to have a duel boot setup (id keep my windows for gaming and video and music production ect)...but use the mac os just...well, something different to look at and play about with. this is a serious question
@@RalfBlees ah i see....so there is no point to me messing about doing iut then, im not going to buy a cheap gpu just to run a mac OS. i appreciate the help though, as im a gamer aswell as a production guy i guess i will just stick with the Windows for now.
This seems like an odd method to show processes using a Mac when the point is to run a Mac environment on a PC, ie not having a Mac already; I have a PC and I want to run Mac OS on it in addition to keeping it on Windows- not buy some cheapo PC and make it run Mac OS… If I had a Mac, I wouldn’t be wanting to install a Mac OS on a PC. This sooo not what I expected.
Hi TechNolli, I have an asus rampage V Extreme X99. CPU have E5-2640 V4. 2.40GHZ and which OS can I install? Can you please help me find the right EFi? would be very grateful to you
Wonderful tutorial, I was able to install Sonoma on my Gigabyte Z490 Vision G mobo, the only thing that isnt working is Eithernet and Sound. Is there a kext for my intel i225 eithernet? Also not sure how to get the sound working. Any advise will be much appreciated.
Technoli, you didnt give me a chance to pay for the efi, it was literally the next day. Then you ignore my emails, that is not good. Very bad way to do business!
@@memphismarkmusic56 You didn't even understand what I said. I said that he is using a mac to do this tutorial. Generally, people who does not have a mac would watch this tutorial. So a lot of things he is doing on his mac is not understandable to the people who always used windows in this tutorial
I am not joking... i have use so many years mac. I bought now 2 windows laptop and the quality never is like macbook so now i want to install mac os ok windows i hope its working i am tired of windows
It is possible (you could google HP Z640 Hackintosh for answers) - important questions here - what GPU, what CPU, what SSD, what WiFi/BT adapter etc. ? You need compatible parts!
Hi, I really appreciate your videos as they provide guidance on using OCAT. This video is very similar to one you made about a month ago on the SUPER EASY install on a Lenovo super slim PC. That video came to a rather abrupt end and you said you would follow up with a USB port mapping guide. The same with this video. Both of the problems you had in booting on this video were USB issues. I hope you can soon come out with a video explaining how you identified the trouble and how to do USB port mapping.
Everything works ! The only problem that I have right now it's the sound. No sound thru the green plug in the back of the thinkstation. Can you please post a fix for it. thank you :)
