Hey so right now I’m running an i7 9700k overclocked to 5.2 GHz an all cores (Cinebench 24 Score is about 680 Points) and I’ve wanted to upgrade my system as now my music production gets to taxing for my old 9700k in Logic. Would you still recommend a 5950x for a Hackintosh (Price here is about 250€) or should I go with an i7 12700k (about 230€) or even a 14700k (350€) I wanted to stay low with my budget as I’ll eventually buy a Mac Studio down the road but which CPU would you recommend and I wanna stay with DDR4 as I have 64 GB and don’t wanna rebuy that again ?
First of all, thank you very much. This video helped me a lot, especially in introducing me to the OC Auxiliary Tools. I managed to get my Asus TUF Z390 Gaming Plus working 100%. I had to make some changes to get it to boot
you know why is over because is would put them over windows which will harm mac because they would has more proifts now because windows 11 giving ads on paid windows installers
I’m not sure if I missed something, but the OS was downloaded from the legacy patcher website and then a download from the Apple website. I didn’t see where both were placed on the usb stick
I have unfortunately bent some legs in my CPU socket, on my GIGABYTE Z390 DESIGNARE i9-9900K. I sent it in for repair, but they couldn't do it.😧Now I have to find a place where they can change the CPU socket.
I am not joking... i have use so many years mac. I bought now 2 windows laptop and the quality never is like macbook so now i want to install mac os ok windows i hope its working i am tired of windows
Yesterday I built my system 14900k, Asus Proart z790, 64Gb DDR5 6600mhz and my old gpu Rx580 (Im researching for a good deal of 6900xt). My GB and Cinebench scores are a little higher and it is because MacPro 7.1 uses all the cores! Imacpro1.1 uses only the performance cores. Just a mention if you want to try it out. Great build gz!
Hi Thechnolli, I always follow you in your videos and I was wondering why I always stop before the 34:38 point of your video? After which the PC starts from scratch and goes in a continuous loop, turns off and always starts again! The PC in question has an "msi z1870a pro, nvme, 16gb, radeon pro w5700 motherboard. Do you have an explanation? Thank you very much in advance, Marco.
Hi, I have a problem, whenever I try to boot the MACos after installation, it gets stuck on the loading screen and then after that it shows me a circle with a line across it..then it restarts by itself, then it loops like that everytime
Perhaps you could consider the possibility to do a video about dual boot (Windows 11 + any OS Hackintosh) with z390 designare? Probably with firmware update? It would be very much appreciated! 😍
I like hackintosh. I still have one at home with High Sierra and an RX 560. Honestly, this is a pretty old MAC with a 560 graphics card, which can't really be used on Blender with GPU, for example. Comparing the old processor with the M2 processor is very darigly. But numbers in GEEKBENCH are interesting. I like it ;-) Is possible to use New version of graphic Card forexample 4060?
Because you can buy a pc for less than 600 bucks and it’s expandable unlike the macmini. I used Mac’s since 1987. I quit. Macs are overpriced closed systems. It’s over apple.
Thanks again for the great content, greetings from Australia🌏, i'm trying the impossible here, what tips do you have for Z690 Gigabyte Aorus DDR4, i3-14100, RX6600. Followed this and seem to be stuck in a boot loop, the verbose doesn't leave anything as it stops then the boot cycle starts again. It does work (latest version of Ventura) with a pre-made but I'd like to try and make an EFI using OC-Aux instead.
I have received my GIGABYTE Z390 DESIGNARE and built my i9 Hackintosh. :) . i9-9900K(QQBY engineer sample), 32 GB DDR4-2666, 2x500 Gb NVMe, RX 590 8 Gb, MacOS 14.3.1(Sonoma). 😀 This is my third desktop hackintosh.
please run a logic test with audio files playing on the tracks to saturate the disk io . and double up till lags . thanks great setup . tip , please use separate audio files so duplicate a metronome click , and individualise before hand. record the output and compare recording to time line sync click when no load, see zoom compare gitter . where can i dl your efi . 👍
I tried this method ion a Lenovo m710q adjusting for my hardware and all I get is a circle with a line crossing it out and a troubleshooting website.... Any ideas where to look to get this booting?
The issue i have with this video is that you have started with a Mac OS system and not shown how to conduct the operation using a windows PC. Completley defeats the object of wanting to install Mac os if you already have Mac os
This will make your screen larger when you boot MacOS in Virtualbox. Change 2560x1440 to your resolution, and change MAC2 to the name of your "VM VBoxManage setextradata "MAC2" VBoxInternal2/EfiGraphicsResolution 2560x1440"
