At the Grand Chess Tour 2019, the participating Chess players answered the question which of the other players confuse them the most. #Chess #magnuscarlsen #checkmate
@@Dark_Voice ye in this case it's more like Rock struggles to find the win against paper. Ding definitely does have one of the better records against Magnus, but if asked today I'd guess Magnus might say Pragg.
- I'm now the world champion. - I'm too arrogant to see that. - Ye are hallucinating. - No, ye are hallucinating. - I'm Chinese, ye are Japanese. China always did affect Japan much much more than vica versa. (Period)
@@entelektuel.yolculuk I'm pretty sure Hikaru has almost no connection to Japan. He's born there but moved to the US as a baby. I don't think he even speaks Japanese. Also, what's your point? Is your point that Hikaru is a less accomplished player than Ding because he's Japanese and Ding is Chenese? Not only is it a terrible (and 100% discriminatory) point that Chinese people are superior to Japanese because China has had more influence than vice versa, but also: who cares what country people are from? Chess is chess. No flag will win you games over the board.
@@bobing1752 first and foremost, I wrote that to funnily imply that Hikaru is an annoying and arrogant person. That doesn't have anything to do neither with chess, nor where people are from. I also wrote it to imply that Ding is a better player than Hikaru overall, even if he sometimes plays weak against Hikaru. Besides, I'm not saying that a Chinese person is superior to a Japanese person, but AS CIVILIZATION AND CVLTURE, of course Chinese Civilization is superior to Japanese cvlture. In fact, Japan too is considered inside the Chinese Civilization sometimes, along with Korea and Thailand.
Levon managed to confuse everyone including himself to the point where he confused Wesley who also confused himself Wesley vs Levon is just the ultimate battle of confusion
he congratulated ding, i mean his job is still a chess streamer, hes just a high enough level and active enough in chess tournaments thats why he can play in all these tournaments ,doesnt mean he quits being a pro, he is still a super gm, chess streamer or not
Literally anyone seeing this comment? Edit: the person I’m replying to edited their comment, it originally said something along the lines of “who’s watching this after ding won the 2023 world championship?”
@@randomname9291 yeah but the guy asked who saw this after ding became world championship but the video was literally published 3 hours ago so everybody would agree on that and i thought i had to correct him cause it kind of looks like a scam comment(to get likes)
@@randomname9291 btw i learned about ding 2 weeks ago and now i see that it was a big name a long time ago when i knew some of the players like hikaru, magnus, kasparov etc...
He didn't say that he says he has good elo score and when he plays against him he wins and he doesn't know why he is better even, tho he is higher elo rating than him
Rapport and Dubov, the last two seconds of the world champions are both very confusing, they have a creativity about the game that's fantastic. Rapport definitely had a great influence on Ding playing exciting chess this WCC, which was great to see, even if it backfired a couple of times, he ultimately won.
@@Mikhail-tal-the-GOATit didn’t matter at that time cause magnus ain’t announce he wasn’t gonna defend the title yet therefore hikaru didn’t care ab winning or put it his all
I can remember Ding achieving at least two spectacular victories against Magnus that was covered by Agadmator. Sure, his overall record against Magnus is probably still negative (like who in the world has positive score against Magnus), but compared with the world's other super-GMs, Ding should definitely have one of the better scores.
I knew Ding had a decent record against Magnus because Agadmator has shown some of these games where Ding won. It was nice to see Magnus acknowledge this. Hopefully he'll come back to play a World Championship match with Ding. I believe Daniil Dubov is another player who has a decent record specifically against Magnus.
How most American players said American names and Russian said Russian. Only world champion chose another world champion… Ding and Nakamura is the only genuine odd😀
Ding "I don't understand Hikaru, I have a very bad score against him." Chad Hikaru "It has to be Ding, he is supposed to be this big shot but I destroy him quite easily."
