Quantity for making body balm:
Beeswax - 13%
Hard oils of choice- no more than 10%
soft oils of choice - to balance to 100%

Hi there! Thank you so much! No Beeswax doesn't get grainy but it might help to stick it in the fridge when you're done if you want to prevent that graininess.

Yes it melts easily. The oils soften up the Beeswax. For body balms I like to use beeswax around 10-12%

@@CreamySuds when i asked if it melts easily i was talking about when shipping it 😊. Some body butters is hard to ship in summer months

@Shatina76 ohhhh I get it. Actually this is perfect any time of year since it's not whipped up. You may need to use a properly sealed package to prevent leakage but even if it melts, it'll come back to form when cooled. Whipped body butters are different because they need to be re-whipped.
