White torture can quickly drive people crazy. That's why I hate the fact TDCJ uses the color white. They did it to be cheap as its the cheapest paint and white clothes can be bleached. Luckily that's as far as it goes.

Solitary confinement is actually an incredibly cruel punishment. Even today. And when misused, can lead to insanity, poor immunity, sensory deprivation, and severe depression, putting the prisoners at even more risk. I once did a study on this and some of the cases were beyond sad

I went to juvie for a misdemeanor a couple years ago and was placed in solitary simply because there was no other room for me to stay in. I honestly have never been more depressed in my life and how quickly my mind resorted to thoughts of ending my life by leaping from the bed head first and how horrible my situation was horrified me

Worst punishment has got to be psychological in nature. Teasing sleep, but always waking you up is incredibly harsh, and this is far more common than you'd think for interrogations. Sensory deprivation is also horrible. Is there any known case of a setup like The Dark Knight Rises being used at some point? That is a horrible psych game too

I was put in solitary while I was in the mental hospital. They gave me a 4 inch thick packet, locked me in my cell and told me I could come out when the packet was finished. It took me days, but I finally finished it and they let me out. Solitary may not be as cruel as other tortures, but don't ever put it in a separate category. It is still torture.

What about the water dropping on your head for days making you go crazy? I accidentally experienced that in the shower right on my forehead, and I didn't think it was that until it had been going on for half an hour, I'm just a kid too.. I started to feel like puking and like I was sick, then I started getting the worst headache. The headache litterally made me start screaming in my mind..
