Hi, Sid! Thankyou for this informative video. I have one question -- at the end you said about looking for 'Permanent Apartment' Isn't a permanent address needed for DVV? if not then would we face any problem later on if we register at the DVV using a temporary address wrt finnish id card or bank account or any other thing which requires our address?

Permanent address is not needed for DVV during the initial days because you cannot have a permanent address from day one. So it is fine, if you give your 'temporary address' when you're registering to the DVV. After you have found an rented apartment for yourself, you can update your address later.

Bro, mujhe finland ka hotal cleaning ka work visa mil rha hai 1000 euro salery hai, room hotal ke taraf se hai, or khane pene ka kharcha mera hai, bor. Kya mujhe aane ka fiyada hai ja nhi, kya tax mere salery se katega ja tax kat ke 1000 euro milega, Second question ki mera id cards vgra ja bank account employer bna ke dega ja mujhe khud bnna padhega ? Hi, 1000 euro per month me apko kaafi tight budget me survive karna pad sakta hai until and unless apko better job mil jaye baad me. Helsinki me cost of living high hai. Groceries in whole month costs between 400-600 euros depending on your living style. Apko apne employer se baat karni padegi for the tax deduction on salary, bank account and Finnish ID card fee etc. All the best for your journey. 🧿 Thanks for supporting 😊🙏🏻

As per migri, the first residence permit always have a validity of 1 or 2 years depending on the type of application. The continuous residence permit (when you renew your permit after your permit of 1 year expires) could be valid for 4 years. Student residence permit is valid for 1 year, after that you need to renew it.

company base visa is better as it offers security and you don't have to search for job as soon as you arrive in Finland.

It could be advisable to use terminology, which would be more directly referencing permits which actually exit in Finland. A lot confusion can result from not recognizing that visa and residence permits in the Finnish legislation are in many ways very different and totally separate permits for very different situations and needs.
