I'm not a pastel artist (yet) but I love the soft effect that pastels get. Your tips are brilliantly organized, thanks, and that cat is really the cat's meow. LOL, but it's really excellent! 🥰

Than you thank you thank you!!!! I was so frustrated with applying Pan pastels with soft tools. The blobs of pigment when the soft tool made contact with the pastel mat paper and not being able to blend it out!!!! Blobbing first on printer paper to get most pigment down - an excellent idea. Your work is absolutely stunning and I can just admire your talent and expertise. Greetings from sunny South Africa where the art materials are very expensive and the wish list very long.

Never heard of pan pastels until today. A long time ago I tried blending with my finger but really didn't give it a chance. I've only used a stump with pencil. Don't know why I never thought about using it with pastel
