The 1st girl....became a woman when she was able to tell her mother how she feels. Without being distrustful.....her mother loves her so much she could see right through the dress... ..Bless them both.
That first bride looked AMAZING in every single dress. I was not expecting her to smash every dress out of the park, but she rocked them all. Usually I can say 'no, not that one' to at least one dress on each bride but she really was stunning in every single one.
I totally agree. As pretty as they are, I can't figure out why Kleinfelds is pretty much one strapless dress after another (and not the most flattering style for some body types). The gowns with straps neckline treatment, sleeves, etc. give so much more opportunity for design. I love the dresses in this show plus try and notice the ones in the background, too (did you notice the pink one?).
I really liked Nikki’s first dress! Lace is so rarely flattering on people, but it definitely suited her. Those sleeves were SO pretty, and added a unique touch that would’ve made her stand out as a bride. I am happy she tried on other things, because it clearly wasn’t THE dress, but mom’s comments definitely rubbed me the wrong way
Gok I'm 72 my husband and I want to repeat our vows. I know you can't come to Texas but I would've some advice. I have gone through so many medical problems and so many more that we are trying to see where we go from here. Please please send a help guide line I'm 5"2 old and I'm 183 that's my weight during chemo thank you in advance and you're biggest fan
I don't think Gok will read this - but I hope others here can help you! If you're a curvy bride, my suggestion would be to not go for Princess and voluminous, because that will drown you. Instead, a fitted A-Line, or even a mermaid might look great!
Do a RU-vid search for older brides , short brides and specific body shape brides . Actually , you should get exactly what you want . Do not worry about anyone else and only take someone who is supportive . I would think that it is more the shape that matters , not age . Look at evening gown advice too , not just bridal .
So did I , as it was not too revealing and the shape was gorgeous. I don’t see , that how they imagined what she would wear , has any relevance. Weird !
The second bride had an awful friend/bridesmaid and mum. How can they say, "This isn't you" to her when they know how self conscious she is about being feminine anyway, and she had said she felt nice! Who cares if her friends and family aren't used to seeing her "showing flesh", they all need to stop being so prissy and grow a pair!
I'm not sure why you'd wear those enormous knickers that come up to your armpits if you want a low back dress, but we all make choices in life and that was hers.
