A LOT that you’ve said Tyrone, I can relate to. Ever since I was younger, I knew that I was not meant to be like everybody else. I can NEVER be anybody else but myself. Hell, most people can sense that you’re faking it anyways lol. The part about being hungry is kinda my issue. I have hunger, but I lack patience. I need to learn to take my time and trust the process. Even if I achieve everything at 40, I STILL fucking did it! A glass half full or half empty, STILL has water in it. Really needed to hear this, I just turned 24 this month and I am having that stuck feeling. Ive always started things and never finished cause like you said i got distracted with trying to fit in, doing the finger pointing, and shuting down mentally and physically cause I m afraid to fail. Ive been going to a tough time. There is a lot of things going wrong in my family and it has pretty much broken me mentally. It helps hearing it from somebody who went through similar problems. I really appreciate it my brother.
I've had this same issue growing up, for most my life I vaunted a sense of validation from others, the need to be cared for and what not, but I eventually learned to embrace my own individualism, and to chase things that make me happy, I was treated as the outcast for most of my adolescent years because I did not partake in the spontaneous nature people tended to have, I did not fit in their group think or vibe, I did not dress like them, I did not fit their standard of what cool is. Many people would just shy away and hide in a shell but instead I learned with practice not to shy away from social interaction and having a social life. I will say based on your criteria, at 31 now, I have mastered the equilibrium of tribalism and individualism to have found what people would describe as a happy life. it only took 31 years to get my head out of the sand to find that peace. You live your life the way you deem satisfactory to you and your principles. When others start speaking for you, you're not living.
Hearing your story, you remind me ALOT of me bro! I was also the nerdy kid that became social. Ive listen to everyone throughout the years and understood empathy and what are peoples needs. From that experience and wanting to do more on this earth, now i help manage a non-profit where we teach folks and kids in the community how to grow their own and everything we grow we give it out for free! I know there’s more goals on my list and thou the world seem uncertain i do feel VERY fulfilled!!!
This is spot on and came at a great time. I was ready a few articles about how to stop being anxious and getting out of my head because there’s so many things I could be doing to better myself in this moment but it’s like my body won’t move. We do the bare minimum to get through life and a lot of us wait for those bare minimum opportunities. To become who we want to be we have to go after what we want I’m 25 about to be 26 exactly a month from today and over the last year following others whether it’s friend, family or whatever gets you nowhere.

I’m going through that late 20s wake up call myself and no one is getting in my way I went through all of the bs I’m finally in a trade which will help me make money to fund what I really want to do in life. Edit. Y’all life is rough I come from a childhood where I had no parent in my life they were off doing drugs and neglecting me and my siblings but sitting around and crying about that shit gets you no where. Put your heads down cut all the negativity out of your life and the distractions and get your life started

Social expectations are a huge problem that contributes to an unhappy life. You don't need to achieve great things to have a fulfilled life. Be realistic when choosing your goals and don't let social pressure and cultural norms define who you are or your fate.
I really needed this video Tyrone. This is one of the best videos I've seen and it has really opened my eyes on the importance of life and what you can accomplish. Especially as a young adult myself still learning and trying to figure the world out. It's really intimidating but I know hard work will pay off soon

Keep on making these inspirational Videos, Tyrone. I've learned to stay away from Negative people who have Negative energies has I gotten older. If you want good things to happen in your life, you have to be good. And if keep doing negative things, you are going to either end up in jail or 6 feet below the ground. Life is to short to be unhappy and I choose to be happy and healthy. You are making your Mom happy everyday, Tyrone. God rest her soul in heaven 🙏

I’ve been suffering from depression and various issues in my life. I still keep writing my screenplays and working on my RU-vid videos. Since it’s about the only thing in my life that makes me feel like I’m doing something to help others.

This is a great video and a wise one at that. Not a lot of people just go for there dreams, the worst that can happen is you fall short a little bit. But you can always try it again and again and again until you get it.
I’ve been wanting to open up a jet skis company for the past year. I’m trying everything I can think of. If it’s not money, it’s credit if it’s not credit it’s something else. I really think I’ll be able to get it done this year just low on cash but I’ll get there!!
