@@hana0647 Bro, it doesn't, in the Basque Country the language that they speak has ZERO connection with Spanish besides the geographical one. They sound completely diferent and have completely diferent origins. In fact, Basque it's so old that experts don't know where it is from.
Its actually crazy who gives a shit about overpriced shit produced by sweatshops. Want a suit? Fuck armani or whatever get custom tailors. 100% better. Smart people dont spend half their money on luxury items, its meant for the billionaires. So dont waste your money on it. Invest, save, be smart.
Invest, save, be smart? I rather enjoy my life while it lasts, why would I be saving my whole life when u can have fun and be happy? In the end I'll die.
@@Jaime.Vacado exactly. And if you really wanted it to be 100% italian, you can fly to italy, get it custom made from a family whose been making suits for 100 years, superb craftmanship and tailored to you and costing less than an armani or other brands. Its an art. Thats living life. Not overpriced stuff thats used brainwashing and social engineering and stigma to make people buy it.
Cristobal Balenciaga is Spanish and the brand was launched in Spain and then transferred to France and became a Parisian staple. Christian Dior, Hubert de Givenchy, and Coco Chanel revered his works.
@luxecollective Balenciaga was founded by Spanish-born Cristóbal Balenciaga in 1917 and established in Paris, France in 1937. The iconic French fashion house is headquartered in Paris. Cristóbal Balenciaga founded the House in 1917 in his home of Spain. In 1937, he established the brand in Paris, designing its collections there until 1968. Hence it’s a French fashion house.
It’s crazy to think almost all of them are owned by companies headquarter in Luxembourg or the Netherlands. Gucci is as Italian now as Dutch windmills.
Actually it's crazy the amount of people who don't know the handful of corporations that own these brands and produce them for pennies on the dollar and made out of polymers and pay a stupid money for them
Actually whats really crazy is the amount of people who get hung up on these Brands and overpriced items of vanity in this day and age with all the crisis in the world, those with social conscience hope for something better.
Cristobal Balenciaga was from Spain. But I would argue balenciaga the house is French only because cristobal started balenciaga in France after having one or two of his previous ateliers fail in Spain due to a Spanish civil war
I think it has more to do with the pronunciation of those brands outside their original countries so the more mainstream they become the more their names are lost in translation. Also it isn't that important to know which country your items were designed in.
The same thing with car brand eg. Volvo many people say its germany or even france but its actually sweden. Or Honda people think its japanesse or german but its korean
Guess it depends from the country, you will not me many people in France and Italy who doesn't know that. Also it is quite easy to guess as they have local names.
It's actually crazy that most of your precious leather goods are actually made in Spain yet you cannot fathom the fact that Cristóbal Balenciaga was Spanish, lol.
