This is a professional at work. When you see that we can operate a lathe here in our Sunday best and what they do there with very old lathes, I take my hat off to you. I have a lot of respect for these types of professionals because that's what they are, really old professionals. Putting a lathe in a small space and doing this kind of work is craftsmanship at its best. Much respect for this man.
Phenomenal work! all in a backyard metal shop, but obviously aware of the importance of accurate measurements (without any digital tools), as the frequent use of calibers shows. Well Done sir
A vederlo fare sembra tutto facile. Invece è difficilissimo. Siete dei maestri. Complimenti. Da noi in Italia scavavi una buca in giardino, chiamavi un "sacerdote", facevi fare il rito funebre e seppellivi il pezzo defunto non riparabile. Poi compravi una macchina operatrice completa nuova. Amen
The final installation of the base plate should have longer, where the new plate goes beyond the repair basically the load on the stick with the bucket will be right where the base plate joins and will be its weakest point. Has it failed since?
Have to say for some people criticising on this repair. You got everything in your country. Very fortunate. These boys are doing good work with what they got. There's a lot of people doing the same to keep shit running all over the world.😁❤
Very good video. Very beautiful machine. A thank you to you. It's great that everything is fixed. Great channel I like it very much.very good mechanic, Thank you very much for that💐🤘🌆🎉❤
the proper work has done here some clips of work are missing in video due to editing.. it works properly and perfectly in running machine if possible i will snd u a video of it in working condition
Wow that pin is wore out and the pivot point is wow..Looks like the has been bad for a long time.. Sad operator just used it so long that it broke..Operator should be fired for just wreaking expensive equipment.. But lucky you have a great machinist here.. Very good a restoration. As this piece of beyond repair.. nive to see this man work.. great at what he does too. Nice video..
👏 for you this is not an actual repir may be in others openion but this is done for the only low coat budjet and i charged only 120$ for it... thats it
Зато работает это. Можно долго говорить что так нельзя, что это не хорошо. Будто в других странах такими вещами не занимаются. В России давно в металл сдали бы эту технику 😂
As a retired welder and fabricator, this is NOT how to repair a worn pin and a torn bushing. By cutting off the end, you have created a weak area in the boom that will break. This type of repair comes from the lack of training and common sense. It's pitiful.
u may a retired welder but i m in service we know our job very well and do guranted work for client we created inside supports for weak area just not shown in the videos ... in our country we have good worth in our field if u don't appreciate plz don't criticise 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
@@interestingmechanics00 It still is a weak part no matter how you want to talk your way around it. Steel for the construction industry, especially batched for its application. The steel you used came from a scrapped tanker from India. You have no idea where it came from or how it is alloyed. We have a saying in the USA, 'you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink'. You are a perfect example.
You never cut it straight , it should of been cut of like a Z so there is more weld and less chance of it cracking in the weld with all the force, I thought you knew better than that,
Probably the owner might be saying it is the mechanic fault and the mechanic might be saying it is something else !!!!!!!🤫but the truck knows the true !!!!!!🔴🫢🤫
