I´m an engine builder from Germany...working on classic car and truck engines plus OM engines like in the vid. If this guy and me would work parallel on the same motor there wouldn´t be any difference in the work you do. Spent 5 years in 3.world countries, building engines, learnd so much from people like him. Summary: They know better! Thanks for fixing things we invented and one day YOU guys tell US how to fix it properly! Much respect and love! BEST EVER!
Absolutely! With their incredible skills and dedication, imagine what they could achieve with top-notch tools and equipment. They'd be like mechanics on steroids-unstoppable! Here's to them reaching new heights of greatness! 🔧🚀💪
Building this engine reminds me of my mechanic overhauling my Ford Escort 1.6 engine. There are no more this kind of guy who are masters in engine building and repairing. Salute this Afghan mechanics.
Whenever you have a problem anywhere in the world with an old truck, engine, gearbox or car made by Mercedes-Benz, people always will help you…never saw that with another brand…
this people are so workaholic in all aspects in life , the respects and caring each other is there even how busy they are , the Muslim ways of greetings ...
Absolutely! Their work ethic is off the charts, and it's not just about the engines-they bring that same dedication and respect to every aspect of life. It's inspiring to see how they uphold values like respect and caring, even in the busiest of times. Plus, those Muslim greetings? A true mark of their warmth and hospitality! 🔧🤝😊
Theses guys are 100 time's better than any technicians at all the dealerships in the whole usa...it would take our guy's a month and 100 thousand dollars
Geht also doch nicht schneller😂😂😂😂😂
Brown aviation gasket maker on the head gasket so old school, i though i was the only one still doing that. Good job. The two young guys will good mechanics in the future.
I second that, at 4:09 the speed that the young man retrieved the rag and put it back on his boss's shoulder is amazing, talking about paying attention to details .. Great job
the excellent hands on frm Afghanistan & Pakistan...there're many more repairs, modifications of almost anything that u'll never see anywhere else in the world
É muito satisfatório pra mim como motorista ver uma montagem de um motor ainda mais um Mercedes v8 impressionante o trabalho de vcs que coisa linda parabéns pelo trabalho
Excellent job with the minimum of tools and equipment ---- the only noticeable hickup is the fact that the Engine was rebuilt but its still barking out black smoke from the exhaust ----- not normal ---- must be residual oil when the pistons was lubricated in the re-assembling process ----- definitely oil burning --- not diesel --- if it was the injector pump or injectors there would be white smoke billowing out
It is quite normal after rebuild..the stucked engine oil in turbo or engine tubings will be burned out ...first 50 km may be there after that no more smoke
These guys know what they are doing. It is a harsh work environment, but they make the best of it. I wonder why someone doesn't pick up the litter scattered around the general area?
@@Mechanical-Handsit’s like during world wars that the best invention come out cause of necessity like the radar and other things like these good people here in the video ❤
Good question! Maybe they've got a secret stash of torque specs hidden somewhere in the desert sands? Or perhaps it's just years of experience and intuition guiding their hands! 🔧🤔✨
That was completely done and dusted in a hour or so and probably cost less than a grand. Would be literally cheaper shipping him 10 engines at a time and charging 5k an engine rebuild 😂 that is impressive
I know everything is probably 40 years behind modern garage practices but these guys know everything about engines and how they work , and looking along the row of units theres loads of other little industries , just a shame they live in a one gender workplace , 40 years behind aswell
