I absolutely love the positive energy from the Baozi man. You can definitely tell that he loves what he does and that he puts his heart and soul into each and every one of those Baozi.
lol. I love these videos. I get embarrassed watching them though, hahaha. Every time is like "MMMMMMMMMM!!!!!" and people look at him like "What the heck?" - hahaha it's great.
😄 I guess all ‘Lao Ban’ got shocked when heard someone greeting them so kind, so polite, so warm and full of smile in the morning 😊 your introduction really make the food taste much much tasty!
Trevor, he is really good at greeting, cuz that makes Chinese people feel warm, that you guys like Chinese food, and thank for this video, it's really good, i ve learned a lot
Wow the fried tofu rolls look amazing. What an interesting mixture of ingredients, I love fermented tofu sauce and sesame sauce. The portions in region are so huge compared to the rest of China.
Love your videos! How do you have room in your stomach for so much food? Does Ting eat what you don’t finish? I’m literally salivating watching these breakfast delights!
I thought I had heard that name before... Tianjin was the city where a giant explosion happened, the CEO of the company responsible was put to death, I do not blame the Chinese government because the recklessness of the storage company had nitrocellulose kept next to flammable components, both in illegal high amounts, fire started the fire department arrived and they did not know the place was full of nitrocellulose, because it explodes when in contact with water. Numbers are different, officially 2000 people died more or less, unofficially from Chinese sites around 130 thousand people died out of 200 thousand affected. You can still see the remains of the destruction on the video! I am glad to see people still made their lives would love to visit
Trevor I love your vids, I'd love to visit any of these places one day, unfortunately It's unlikely I'll manage to get to the addresses, can I suggest you make a QR code with the location of the places you want to recommend and put them in the video so we can save those locations?
Hey Ranger I’ve been watching ur video for years, I enjoy all ur videos but this time u got some thing wrong. I’m from Tianjin and the jianbingguozi that u tries is not the best jianbingguozi in the city. Try nanlou jianbing and get fried flat (果蓖)pronounced as( gawl, bee). U will rate it 10/10!
I’m sure he only acts that way when he’s speaking to foreigners. It seems to me to be a way to convey that he’s a friendly person even if he can’t fully communicate with someone. Also we don’t understand the mannerisms of these cultures. Maybe he’s communicating in a way that seems normal to them but weird to us. I don’t see it as cringe I just think we don’t understand why he acts this way.
Haha everyone complaining about him going “HMMMMM” so loud and looking around for people to acknowledge him. He’s doing it to acknowledge their work and effort that went into the food. Its not coming from a self centred place he does it to show them how much he appreciates them which is something pure and kind. Albeit he does it excessively.
True, he is one of the politest food blogger i will support. Everywhere he goes, he will pick up the basic language to greet and interact with locals every he go. #Respect
@Carl Chang Oh really? I thought he was tricking Trevor by not giving him the change. I don't think Trevor as a newcomer give that Bao guy small money in the first place because Trevor didn't know the price of those Baozi. Then again maybe I was wrong.
I love how friendly Trevor is :') makes everyone around happy. Don't ever get discouraged, so many ppl appreciate your polite, respectful and friendly way of interacting with locals :D
Too bad the friendly woman, who provided the food for free, on video got the "tai hoa la...mmmm..." but off screen getting the true low rating not or ever going to find out. Too funny, lolz.
