I'm Speaking up in defense of Alaskan fisherman. I've been going there to help my brother on Sitka fish for four decades!!. We all know each other because Sitka is a really small island.... even though Alaska is a huge state, we all share a common goal and a love for our wild life .ALL OF THEM! I've never met or heard of anybody purposely shooting an Orca. Not ever!

The bear was being kept in a 15x15ft cage. And they wonder why he attacked? Like they never really did confirm it had a separate feeding cage.

The first unknown creature seems to be the carcass of a huge leopard seal IMO.

Great video! One thing though; Travis the chimp had just been put on Xanax which had the opposite effect. He was a young male who wanted to mate and was kept from it so also possibly grew resentful...many factors contributed but the message is clear; a wild animal should not have to be raised in captivity

I tried unsubscribing and re applying and I finally got alerts again. I love your ancient history videos the best. They really show us that there is still so much out there that we do not know about especially about Egypt, Greece, Roman History and the Middle east and the Orient. Keep up the good work.

I could be wrong but, as for the furry dolphin looking thing. I remember seeing a documentary about ice age creatures that survive until just a few hundred years to a couple thousand years ago. There was a furry arctic like manatee in the list. It didn't die out natural, it was hunted to death by the clovis people and water going early native tribes. Had a long snout on it too. May be an old frozen one of those or perhaps a surviving one that just couldn't get away from a predator.

I watched this on shark week. About the 9 ft female and the possibilities over the tag. I think the tag was ingested during a mating episode. I don't want to think there is a very Marge shark or some type of large species eating sharks. Any way I bet it was ingested during a mating session, that makes sense since males have to bite the female to hold on and get the job done, since males have 2 classes it can't be easy to insert 2, most species on earth only have one appendage for procreation purposes.

I worked for the vet clinic whose Dr had to go to the tiger attack victim. All the tigers were half the weight that they should of been, so they were starving.

@9:34 That dead thing looks like a video of water moving after the Japanese tsunami. The thing came out of the water and climbed on a house roof. From the video, it was as tall as the house and its body cover the majority of the roof.

Keeping wild animals then them attacking causing death to the owner…Yeah I don’t feel sorry for them. A wild animal should be allowed to live in its natural habitat not a home.

Those hairy things that keep washing up are probably well preserved aged specimens that are washing off of the riverside and banks and bottoms when there are wild fluctuations in depths due to storms or the lack of storms. They were never frozen just buried in thick mud and then they finally washed into the ocean and then onto the beach.

The Blob Fish goes thru MASSIVE decompression and it's quite sad to see them; eyes all bugged out and skin characteristically pink associated with busted blood vessel's. It looks seriously painful. I hope they don't have swimbladders...

Travis the chimp had been given diazapam and wine by his owner before the attack and was stressed at being confined to the house after a court order banned him from leaving. There's a great docu on here actually. A real shame for all involved.

Wildlife is always wild, i guess all the dead victims never heard the expression " if you play with fire, you will get burn one day". This is a costly lesson to learn and many people out there still kept wildlife as pet. People have to understand that it take thousands of years to domestic dog and cat.

My mother had a wolf part dog that was a mild mannered exceptionaly social animal. It got allong with all humans, and was a lesder among dogs. It was a good pet and friend. Untill it got into the neighbours chicken coup. My mother had it put down.

The lonely whale...perhaps a blue whale, was not of regular size, a dwarf whale if you will, and as such, had vocal chords not as long as normal blue whales, would it not be assumable that, it's song would not be as low in frequency???

Really, Alaska fishermen don't shoot orcas because the orca are picking Longines long before they are at the surface. A 30ft orca is an old orca and most likely died of old age. How do i know Alaskan fishermen are not known to shoot orca...? Because i am one and you barely have time to sleep hauling gear much less run inside, get a gun and wait for something to poke its head up.
