Let's take a look at every Premier League club and see who the most unfairly hated players are, including the likes of Raheem Sterling and N'Golo Kante.
Villa signed Downing and spent 6 months rehabilitating a serious injury before he made his debut. Fast forward 12 months when he finally hits some form, he publicly comes out and says he loves the club and would stay with them even if they are relegated. During the close season, he’s then pictured in a Spanish bar holding up a Liverpool scarf with Andy Carroll whilst still a Villa player. Hope that answers your question.
...you mean they took a chance by paying a club record fee on a player with a serious injury and had their physio staff work tirelessly to bring him through months of intensive rehab to get him fit so he could carry on playing football?
regiment589 what do I expect? If I show faith in someone by paying a club record transfer fee for them and then rehabilitating him for the next 6 months to get him up to the best form in his career, I expect him to stick around and repay some of that faith 👍🏻
Matthew Barrett Fabregas could have walked in to just about every midfield in the world and he went to Chelsea. I can’t say I have no problems with that.
The abuse Felani got from certain sections of our fan base was disgusting, considering nearly every trophy we won after Sir Alex retired was thanks to him.
I just think he was not good enough for United even doe at one point all they did was just go from a long ball from Ashley Young to fellaini and pray that u score
Maybe he felt like coz he wasn't playing matches with man city, he didn't feel like he's actually a part of the team and so didn't feel the love for trophies, and he has been integral part of Liverpool since his transfer and to be honest he did move to a bigger club
@@ryanbaptiste249 the thing is, liverpool IS a bigger club still. Do you have 43 trophies in the cabinet? Not to mention they won UCL and super cup? Pretty much the only reason why city is what it is right now is thanks to sudden flow of huge oil money literally buying everything. Name one city youth player that helped city to current glory. They literally bought the trophy and everything they have right now.
right? if you were to poll Chelsea fans at the end of each of the last five seasons whether they'd accept a straight swap for Eriksen they'd answer yes nearly unanimously every time. for point of comparison. PL stats since both arrived in the PL. Willian: 12372 minutes played, 28 goals, 26 assists, a goal contribution ever 229 minutes. Eriksen: 17273 minutes played, 49 goals, 60 assists, a goal contribution every 158 minutes. Willian isn't terrible and he does possess other strengths, but there's no closing that large a gap in end-product, Eriksen is leagues above him.
As a Leicester fan I can say that we don’t hate Kante at all we love him however for some reason when ever we play Chelsea we feel the need to shout “Leicester reject” and just start booing him because well we miss him 🤣🤣
Mark N yeah we do but like kante we respect what he did to the club however with mahrez it’s like u were a god for us now a nobody for man city and it’s like that for Danny drink water at Chelsea too
"Nearly everytime he returns to the ground with liverpool, he just seems to receive the same icy reception that ryan giggs must get at a family get-together." HAHAHA
Fabregas tried to force a move by going on strike and not going on tour he was far and away our best player and captain and left when we needed him the most.
Irish guy you are right to be baffled by Liverpool fans and their dislike of Evra. This is a club whose fans are bitter subhumans who attack team buses, ambulances carrying injured opposing players and play the victim when criticised. They are a disgrace
Milner is hated because he joined liverpool from man city, a title rival. He complained about being put out of position yet is played out of position for Liverpool and also he celebrated his goal like he had just won the world cup.
I'm an Everton Fan and Sterling is a questionable one I would have gone with someone like Solomon Rondon for breaking Mccarthy's leg. IT WAS ACCIDENTAL
Fellaini was a good player for us. He was always good as a plan B. Example when he scored that last minute winner vs Arsenal to end the game 2-1 Utd 2018 . The time when he scored that goal to keep our hopes alive in the Capital One Cup semi Final vs Hull . Or that last minute winner vs Young Boys in the Champions League group stage 2018. He was such a good player . I do not know why he’s hated in Msn Utd .
So this is my take on Milner getting booed by City fans. No one had a problem with him joining Liverpool, but after he scored against City he excessively celebrated. That looked even worse when you'd think back to when City beat Liverpool in the League Cup final in 2015/16, after the winning penalty was scored, Vinny didn't run off and celebrated and instead consoled James. He was shown a lot of love at City but then showed none back after he left. Might be more reasons but this is just from what I remember.
Most players who leave city get treated with respect when they return. James milner constantly mouthed off about the club in interviews after leaving. That's why he's singled out
But why boo him, instead of laughing at him ? Because obviously City has won more trophies in that time.. when you boo him, that means you actually care.. if I was in your situation, I would have just laughed it off and stopped caring..
As a Liverpool I’m ashamed of what we did with the evra situation. I was to young at the time to really realises what was proper going on but even that isn’t a good enough excuse
Milner basically started saying how he "went to Liverpool to win trophies" he said that before they lost the EL final mind you. He said he wanted to leave the club because he didn't play much at City even though he played almost every game during his last season in City. He also did a fucking Gangnam style after scoring against City, which is a top shithousery but still, hope this cleared it up a bit why they don't applaud his every touch
@@humanorzombie oh (btw I'm not having a go at you) theres not really any point in booing him tho because if a footballer did that to join your team you wouldn't be saying that but I'm not trying to argue I'm just trying to make a point but anyway we all have different opinions so see you 👍🏼
Liverpool supporters were convinced Evra lied about the Suarez abuse. We were in denial about Suarez, to be fair. Definitely a stain from the past, this one.
@@maldivianman3739 cuz manc always boo liverpool players. (Real mancs, not the so called mancs who change their team every time a new school gets built in their village.
Part of the reason carroll gets booed is because he dived and tried to win a pen on his return to st james park in the match where Enrique ended in goal
Manchester United - Carlos Tevez Chelsea - Petr Cech Arsenal - Alexis Sanchez Manchester City - They don't know how to chant, do you expect them to boo?
Burnley booed cause jay rod the one who bong accused is from burnley and came through as a youngster so is very respected, like he's come back to burnley now
The reason A FEW Norwich fans dislike lambert is because he left norwich when they were 11th in the league for Aston Villa cos they gave him more money even tho they finished below us and cos he left we got relegated And then much more recently he caused a massive brawl in the derby.
Yep, fantastic thumbnail, because Raheem Sterling plays for Everton.. Edit: Lads, i know that was the choice for the club, but let’s be honest, that’s what the thumbnail suggests.
For Chelsea, it should be Jorginho. He was one of Chelsea's best players last season why are you booing him. Just because the manager decided to stick him in Defensive midfield instead of Kante?
You could make a hole video about all players real madrid fans has booed like Cristiano Ronaldo casilias and bale. Come on! Dont boo Some of the biggest legends for your club it would be like the barcelona fans bouing Messi because he hasnt scored in a week
I agree with you Irish guy, I still have loads of respect for Andy Carroll, admittedly I said some things out of anger when he first left but now theres no hard feelings from me.
