sorry i missed the live stream! beautiful place.. million dollar statue is very cool.. the negotiations to acquire it must have taken some time i'm guessing.. interesting! thanks for the lovely tour Dan! ❤
Your channel is just what I’ve been looking for. I came across it the first time in the middle of the night a few weeks back. My thoughts keep coming back to what I saw that night. Thank you very much for posting this tremendous content. You can be sure I’ll be watching and rewatching every moment you ever post. 👍
The grave of Max Pelgrim is one of the most beautiful graves i have ever seen... Got dozens of pics from that, even from far away, it looks likes he's begging for relief... It's hauntingly beautiful.
Fascinating to see different forms of memorials. Times and traditions change, so does our attitude to death. Most of us like to think we won’t be forgotten when we are gone and some of those mausoleums go a long way to ensure that. Beautiful statues. I’m partial to finding out about war dead, mostly as apart of my genealogy search but also to try and honor those that died on our behalf. So I looked up Max. His mum must have been very sad to lose him. Thanks for the video 😊
An insane amount of money invested in mausoleums, statues, etc. It's hard to believe that the 1800's had a terrible famine and then all kinds of political/religious turmoil that erupted. We just don't see this level of expenditure in most of the US cemeteries.
Go to the Oakhill cemetery in San Jose, California. The Asian section has some of the biggest beautiful granite headstones that I have ever seen. And they are fairly new.😮
That may be true, but "most" cemeteries in the states I've been to (and it has been quite a few) don't have his level of expense. I see coins piled up around grave sites here, but the stones themselves are rather simple in comparison. I was just shocked because the time period was marked by lots of poverty and a struggle for survival, yet this cemetery tells a very different story. @@hopieelliott6053
O M G ALL I CAN SAY IS WOW WHAT A.BEAUTIFUL CEMETERY I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING QUITE LIKE IT THOSE STATUES WERE SOMETHING ELSE THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME AND EFFORT AND KEEP WELL CANT WAIT FOR YOUR NEXT VIDEO🙏👍
That was very interesting Dan. As you say there was so much work put into some of those monuments. I don’t think I would like that cemetery on a bleak wet day. 👻
Dan, what a great tour that beautiful Museum thank you so much for sharing. Also the Rodin statue is in Detroit Michigan at the Detroit Institute of Arts. If you look under Detroit Institute of Arts you'll be able to see the statue in front of the art building. Thanks for sharing Dan take care.
I have no words for how amazing that place is,thank you so much for showing us.The monuments are incredible! Ten million pounds omg,I wonder if anyone's tried to steal it over the years, but I don't think that would be easy to move! That blows any cemetery I've seen out the water,I need to visit one day
A very big and beautiful cemetery with the monuments and mausoleums. I like the statue of Rodin. I think you became sleepy because of all the dead people😏Martha
Very interesting. A lot of French people were buried there. Seems like there were little kids there too (4:18). I didn't even know spirits can shave. (Part 1) 1:02 "Leave them alone" 1:09 "I seen him before." 1:10 "Who is he?" 1:11 "I think he's Colin" 1:13 "Colin who?" 1:16 "I wouldn't know it." 1:25 "What's in it for us?" 1:35 "Stop digging around here for our sake." 1:39 "Come here." 1:42 "Damn it. Whatever." 1:48 "Jesus Christ, he knows me." 2:17 "Back in." (loud) 2:38 "Help me.." (Wow that's creepy and amazing!) 2:42 "Derp." 2:44 "Gesunheit!" 2:46 "What about me?" 2:48 "Now is the time here." 2:50 "Hey, its okay." (female) 3:21 "Bonjour!" ("Hello" in French.) 3:24 "Uncle Kundorf(?) North" 3:42 "Uncle Kundorf(?) North" (again) 3:48 While walking between graves, a voice said "id_ot!" 3:52 "Uncle William." 3:54 "Aren't you nine one?" 3:58 "William is in there." 4:02 "I'm near the window." 4:10 "No one told us." 4:18 "It's not very nice." (sounds like kids) 4:21 "You better move it children." 4:23 "I don't think he even noticed." 4:27 "He already noticed." 4:29 "I don't think he even noticed it." 4:32 "What is the matter with him?" 4:34 "Jesus Christ. Nobody even notice." 4:42 "Nobody notice it." 5:32 "Remind us of him." 5:35 "Tell Tuesday." (I recall Tuesday is a spirit that follows you. I remember that name when you were down in the Brno Capuchin Crypt) 5:37 "Okay." 5:38 "Tell Tuesday what?" 5:41 "Tell Tuesday we are at the Crypt." 5:43 "You tell him." 6:07 "How you walk in front of me?" 6:49 "Vampire"
(Part 2) 7:32 "Hello Richard." 7:45 "You look different." 7:48 "Shaved my beard." 7:50 "I noticed the difference there." 7:53 "Oh my god, how you do that?" 7:54 "With a straight razor." 7:55 "You have to teach me how." 8:04 "Let them sleep well. Go." 8:08 "We're going to go. Whatever." 8:29 "We're going to leave right now." 8:35 "Lay off." 8:38 "We're all in hell right now." 8:42 "This is not hell right here." 8:51 "Come." 8:55 "Come in." 8:57 "We're waiting for you right now." 9:01 "This is our crypt by god." 9:05 "It looks great." 9:12 "Fonduh" (Might be a French prounciation of the same word) 9:14 "Come here." 9:29 "Shouldn't be here." 9:31 "Get out." 9:37 "Never come back, okay?" 9:42 "I won't come back, okay?" 9:45 "If you want, you can come back.. to your crypt." (creepy voice) 10:01 "You're not welcome." 10:04 "Get out of here right now." 12:30 "Damn it to hell with you." 12:32 "You wanna?" 12:41 "I don't believe." 13:06 "Pelgrim" (with no "s" at the end accourding to the spirit voice.) 13:19 "I spit on you." 13:53 "Come in." 13:58 "Come... in" 14:27 "Hey get off" 14:31 "Heygoff, pray for them." 15:16 "Oof.. Wrong man." 15:19 "Good afternoon!" 15:20 "Who's paying attention right now?" 15:23 "Bonjour Madame Hijule(?)" 15:31 "Bonjour Madame." 15:34 "Missieur" 15:36 "I'm no missieur" 15:37 "There you go."
It said "Remind us of him" at 5:32. Its good that you picked that voice up also. Its one of the louder ones. I posted all the EVPs I found. There is about 85 EVPs in this video. 5:32 "Remind us of him." 5:35 "Tell Tuesday." (I recall Tuesday is a spirit that follows you.
Hi there, I'm French myself but all the deceased are buried under p, a norm of 2 metres down. Some mausoleums can contain 12, 15 people same family, all under,
I work in and for many cemeteries. I’ve done it for so long it’s made me realize I never want to be put in one. I call them the trailer park of souls. Very wasteful
After listening to so many EVPs in the past few years, I come to the conclusion that cemeteries are also places where the souls can go to for solace. They protect each other from other non-human entities and there are a lot of bad ones out there from demons to what is called "creep lords" by some of the souls. Apparently, those creep lords eat other human souls. It sounds weird, but the world of the dead is not exactly a normal place. Souls that wander by themselves without latching on to a person can be vulnerable to being prayed on by other souls.
These descriptions are not mine. The "creep lord" term came up in the Brno Capuchin Monk Crypt video that he made. I never heard of that term or even thought souls could be ate by others until that one came up. Do I believe it? I don't know. However, I did hear the spirits say it and it was recorded on that video he made. There are other videos where spirits tell each other there are demons in some of the wooded areas and to avoid that area. Take it for what it's worth.
@@ahndeux It’s interesting for sure. But I’m in cemeteries for a lot of time and I see the worst things going in and out of there is the living people. After all family is gone you wouldn’t believe the disrespect that happens to graves. Sad. I’m just going for the cremation route and dump me where you want. I hope it is adventurous after death and not just done. See you on the other side.
@@buck9739 I can imagine. I'm learning to appreciate life more after hearing how sad it is for the spirits on the other side. I haven't decided on cremation or just burial. Either way, I'm heading to the light as soon as I can. I am not staying around.
