It is interesting. I never heard of "creep lords" until this video. Apparently, they eat humans.

It might not be new coffins. Its more likely they remove the top for maintenance from time to time. I wouldn't doubt they added the acrylic sheet later, but it doesn't mean the coffin was replaced. As for the screws, it wouldn't be a big issue to replace the older screws with newer ones later on as they probably open the top from time to time to do some cleaning of the interior. You really don't want to move these coffins or disturb it at all. The bodies are fragile.

My guess is that being under a vow of poverty, they probably gave away all the money/goods. It's the Capuchin way. I had a dear Capuchin friend (sadly now deceased) who, in keeping with his vows, gave away everything that was given to him. (Well, he did eat some pickles I made for him, but he shared the rest of the jar with his brothers at the monastery.)
