Most bands change personel its the passage of time. The direction has never altered and Brian keeps it tight. Livis vocals are great. A solid band who never sold out and respect for that. Yes Heather has moved on but the band remain top dollar. BTW always a great live sound well done Dave.
That guitar intro is instantly recognisable and likeable. Don't understand why people criticise these guys. I first came across them on a DVD with other groups like Deep Purple and in my view they rank alongside many more esteemed contemporaries.
***** They never got married, It was put off just weeks prior to. I think it might have been the best thing for her ! Fish, aka Derek Dick, has 3 strikes now in trying to marry. btw Heather sounds great here !
I heard for the first time “Mostly Autumn” at The Magician’s Birthday Party by Uriah Heep at … ? It was divine music, and I bought all MA albums ! But … their music got tired - a lot of sadness
MA are going backwards since the departure of Heather and Angela. Dont recognise most of the group anymore, the keyboard player left twice, think theres only Josh left now.
+Mike Bradbury I disagree with this. Their latest albums have been fantastic. Olivia has done a good job on lead vocals. Iain Jennings has only left once (and very briefly) according to Wikipedia, Andy Smith has been with them since 2000. I must admit that I hadn't realised Liam Davison had left on rhythm guitars, which seems a shame, but there has still been quite a lot of continuity.
Indeed, Mike. Bryan should have done the honest thing, put the Mostly Autumn bandname to rest after Heather left, and continue with "Josh & co. Limited".
Absolute nonsense. Mostly Autumn is Bryan's band. Always has been, always will be. As is the company Mostly Autumn Records. There were singers before Heather, and if Olivia ever chooses to leave (as Heather did) then it still will carry on.
