I agree. I wish I had discovered them at the outset, but hopefully they'll be around for some time to come, and I might have a chance to see them live. The same thing happened to me with Runrig, a band from Scotland who were together for 40 years and put out 14 albums. I first heard of them when their last album was released and then they retired one year later! So I'll never see them live, and they were phenomenal in concert apparently.

@@pathfinder1273 Ah Runrig, THE best band ever to come out of Scotland and the biggest Scottish band that you will NEVER hear on the radio. I’ve probably seen them about a dozen times with both Donnie Munro and then Bruce Guthro as lead singers. There was an atmosphere at a Runrig concert that I never experienced with any other band. You have sadly missed out on an experience. As for Mostly Autumn I have seen them four times, just fantastic. If you do wish to hear either band on the radio then you will need to go to Radio Caroline, the former pirate station and Europe’s first album station, give it a try and listen outside of the box. @@juleshathaway3894 I don't do radio. I've bought all of Runrig's albums online, and most of Mostly Autumn's (all with Olivia Sparnenn). It's just unspeakable that artists like this are cottage industries while the music industry spews a deluge of vomit onto the airwaves of the world.

@@pathfinder1273 Oh I fully agree there is so much brilliant music out there that 99% will never know of because of the state of radio in general. The state of British radio is a soap box subject for me as it is soooo dire, dire beyond words. Radio Caroline is completely different as their presenters have total feee reign to play what they want and not what they are told to play. And they do not play the mass produced repetitive shite that all the other stations play. You say you don’t do radio but Caroline is not a my thing like normal radio. They will play songs 20 minutes long at times. No other station will do that. If you like Mostly Autumn (you have to get the Heather Findlay era albums too) try Karnataka, Magenta, Pendragon, Panic Room to name but a few of brilliant bands I found over the years through Radio Caroline. I think you might like them. Cheers
