I tend to agree with the trespassing. While I think the mask rule is stupid, the restaurant has a right to their property and their rules as long as they are not being discriminatory. The media is still pissed off over WW2 restrictions that kept them from leaking information to the world about Allied military operations.

Honestly, I believe the media swing left because left=change. Conservative, by definition, means status quo. The left is the opposite to that, and that means change. They feel it is improvements, but that is simply a matter of opinion. The point is, though, that status quo is not news worthy. Change is something to talk about. Therefore media is, by default, going to be left leaning, because they report on things that are out of the normal/constant. The real issue is that the media today is MAKING the news. By saying they are unbiased, but actually not reporting in an unbiased way, they sway public opinion to support the minority viewpoint. This then turns a small, local and rare event into looking like something 50% of the people support. That then gets more people to believe in that minor viewpoint and thereby making it into an issue that comes up more and more. It gives them more to report on. They create more of the news they report on. The media is the real problem, not because they lean left, but because they aren't told what they are doing is wrong.
