Meet Nicholas, who connected to the Motel-to-Home and Financial Rewards Program through our partner Single Parent Alliance and Resource Center (SPARC).
Atlanta Civic Circle wrote an article about Nicholas and his daughter's difficult journey to finding permanent housing. When Nicholas was laid off from his job, he fell behind on rent, and was kicked out of the townhome he shared with his daughter. Nicholas joined the Motel-to-Home program where he received help with permanent housing, went to monthly workshops on various financial topics, and met with his case manager. In return, he received financial incentives and learned to save for the future.
Nicholas and his daughter have since moved into their own home and are excited about the future!
