Michael and his son moved to the Atlanta area from Chicago in 2020 and moved into a home. He later found out the property he was renting was for sale and they had to move out. With a short time to find a new place, Michael and his son decided to stay in a motel.
After moving into the motel, Michael struggled to find more permanent housing and was referred from his son's school to our Motel-to-Home partner, Frontline Housing. Michael connected to a case manager and quickly found a new home in his son’s school zone. Michael is now pursuing a business administration degree and he plans to start his own trucking business!
