@@W1XZZ trust me, be happy if your cat is a quiet one. mine just gets the idea that it`s way too quiet at 3am and starts performing a scream concert just for herself
You can see mama cat REALLY likes the person behind the camera, as she keeps slow-blinking at them. She doesn't seem in the least nervous about them being next to her kitten. :-)
Yes! I scrolled down looking for someone to comment on this. The slow-blink toward the human is a perfect expression of she is signaling everything is safe and peaceful. Mamma cat is protecting, and wants the humans to know everything is fine, too! :-)
The way the mama cat reaches her paw out at 1:23 to touch her baby is so precious! Especially when the kitten nuzzles back at the paw on it’s head like ‘It’s Mummy!’ 🥺🥰❤️
That mama cat is beyond gorgeous. Those big saucer eyes are spectacular. I would love to see this kitten at five or six months old. This is a wonderful post. Thank you ❤️❤️❤️
It's a trill, a sound made almost specifically for mother cats to talk to their kittens! Cats sometimes make it near humans too. It can mean "Come here" and a bunch of other things.
Oh my goodness! Mama is SO gorgeous!! Her coat plus those enormous green eyes-just stunning! She's a great mama. And I can't wait to see the kitten's coloring in a couple more months. Thanks for posting this!
@@madelinelinder1463 What are you talking about. Breeders don't adopt. Do you not understand what a breeder means? "They're" not going to be adopted, they will be sold for profit. INSTEAD of people adopting from shelters, they will BUY these.
@@redjuice02 Of course many breeders are inhumane and I don’t exactly like the idea of animals lives being profited off of. However, that doesn’t change the fact that the animals being sold by breeders are just as much deserving homes as those in shelters. All animals should be loved, no matter where they come from. If there comes a day where breeders are no longer a thing, great, but that’s not happening anytime soon.
I love how she is like come here, let me clean up your face. And the little kitten almost immediately falling asleep like opening up your eyes is exhausting. Such a cute moment
Agree - also reminds me that's how Jesus see me. Comforting whispers of 'I'm right here', constant reassurance that I can get all my needs met. So precious.
Our cat whom we adopted last year as she was a stray who just chose us!, had a litter of kittens on April 5th. She was just barely grown herself, but was the Best mommy to her babies! She only had 4 kittens and they were sooo sweet, cute and funny!! All have been happily adopted by family friends! We are having her fixed this coming week!😉
if we would do that to our babies we would go to jail..just saying..😂 ive never met a human mommy/daddy who didn,t held cuddled and kissed her/his baby..🥰
@@TheCrimsonZombie well those kids don,t have a mommy/daddy or gave them away, or whatever. still i never met a human mommy/daddy who didn,t cuddle and kiss their children. so my point still stands that most of them do and there isn,t much to learn from a cat for humans to know how to express their love for their younglings.
In the early 90's we had a litter of 6 from our first cat. To see them all grow old was one heck of an experience. I just mimicked their mother's sounds and behavior which actually worked wonders to such an extent that when bedtime came around I only had to make a certain sound and they all went straight to our bedroom no matter where they were located. Didn't work on rescue cats we later had in life though, those cats just looked at me as if I was some idiot which I was of course not having them trained since the day they opened their eyes.
I love the sound of the cat talking to her baby. My oldest cat keeps doing it although her "baby" is a 11-year old cat. She does it to us as well. Especially when she hasn't seen us for a while or there is food and it smells really good :)
Mama and baby are adorable with their chirping and purrs. ❤️ My cat perked up when he heard the purring chirps, looked around then made some answering chirps, and moved to cuddle me. ❤️
my dog went from half sleeping on my bed to fully alert, barking, sprinting to jump off the bed and slide into the wall in so much of a hurry to run outside to investigate the noise. after a minute of pointlessly waiting at the back door he came back into my room, jumped on the bed and went back to sleep as if nothing had happened. what a dummy!
What a CUTE mother cat!! lol the baby's looking for her and she tells her "I'm over here and sits down near her" So cute. Plus she's clueless why you're staring AT HER! lol
@Cowboy Ninja That was my favorite part! First she reached out a paw to give him something to guide him to her. Then when he approached it was like, "Are you hungry? You want to move down there then." So sweet & helpful. And of course, when he refuses to go nurse, she is like, "Not hungry? OK. BATH TIME!" lol
She's not clueless about her person staring. That slow blink she does to her person is a look of affection and contentment. She knows that she and her baby are safe and well loved
This is exactly how my cat used to behave with me, including the noises. It's just dawned on me watching this that she must've thought I was her kitten. Gorgeous cat and kitten.
Yeah. Cats tend to see us as the same as them, except we’re kittens who don’t know what we’re doing. That’s why cats bring “gifts” (dead animals) because we don’t hunt like they do, and lick us because they are trying to groom us.
@@beatricewaide8108 not really.. housecats are social animals with family structures like us.. they know what a baby is across mammalian species the same way we do.. they take care of us and hunt for us because that's what social animals do for others in their families, us included aside from our post-colonial individualism and lack of human connection..
We had a cat many years ago, one of a long line. I was the first human face he looked at after his eyes opened. (long story there) Many years later, we discovered he had acute cancer of the jaw, which was starting to cause him pain, and would only get worse, with no real reprise available. So with heavy hard we opted for him to go back to the vets have an injecction. When there, the vet told me and my brother we could wait outside, or be with him when he received the injection. We opted for the latter, talking to him during the process. As his eyes began to close he turned his head and looked straight into my eyes, until they eventually closed and his head dropped. Even as I type this my weyes are watering. Not ashamed to say it. I was his forst real view, and his last. They dig their claws into your hearts, and like the Morgul Dagger, the sensation remains with you.
That was sad and beautiful. I wish that every pet could have a person like you in their life. So many cats and dogs have two or three families during their lifetime but those that have one that loves them completely from start to end are so fortunate.
I love how every step the little dude takes over that uneven terrain is just a tremendous effort. You can practically hear the grunting. “Almost there, unh, just one more step…”
I'm not a huge cat lover, and be allergic doesn't help. However I love seeing them with their babies, they are so gentle and loving its amazing to watch ❤
What a truly beautiful Mumma cat. Her eyes are incredible. The little trills she made were so sweet and she was so gentle with her little one. This video made my day 💛🧡🐱🐱
This video was so heartwarming, my friend😸💗. Her love and attention to her kitten was so evident. I loved how affectionate she was being, with her sweet little voice too.
What a wonderful moments!!!! MIMI soooo proud of her tiny kittie, she is trying to easy its way, she knows the beauty of her little treasure, loves him, cares for him, she is full of tenderness. Could she imagine such wonderful achievement in the beginning? I'm in awe! The mistery of love!!!!! THANKS so much, dear carer to show us the developing growth
Yes, her delicate caring of him may show her inexperience as a Mom Cat but it also clearly shows her love and gratitude for this new and precious baby. .🐈🐾she is so careful and graceful with him. I adore cats and this clip was very special to watch.
So precious, she's a damn good mom! So gentle and delicate with her touching/handling. 👍🏻😊😍😻 Mom's beautiful and her colour is gorgeous; reminds me of a cougar/mountain lion.
It's so interesting how the kitten can fall asleep at the drop of a hat. They have trouble regulating their body temp when they're kittens, so I'm surprised that she's not snuggling with Mom. Too cute!
@@PetroicaRodinogaster264 yeah, outside on it's own would be bad for a single kitten. Plenty of stray cats have litters outside, but they need litter mates and a cozy nest in a sheltered spot to stay warm while their mama goes out to get food. I'm a vet nurse, and we have a special small heated hospital cage that we fill with fluffy blankets, specifically for newborn puppies and kittens to stay warm in if their mum isn't able to be with them (ie she's still in theatre or recovery after a c-section, or she's too unwell) or they're orphaned. It's the animal version of the incubators they put babies in, in NICU :) Of course, we prefer to carefully tuck them into our shirts to snuggle and keep them warm ;) but that's not always practical at work. Also, although the kitten in this video is still tiny, it's probably about a week old if it's eyes are open, and at that point they're already much better at thermoregulating than a brand new kitty. They develop so fast!
Oh that is soooooo precious how mama is looking right into her babies face. She is such a good mama!!! No more babies, at least for a year or so. Just let mama grow up and get strong!! Bye,JOANNIE.
So beautiful! 20-30 years ago my parents had a female cat you could have a conversation with! She would make those sounds all the time. She was also the world’s most prolific hunter with 2 kills a day. Even the day she died, she brought something in. I think, despite being spade, she was having phantom pregnancies. I spent a lot of my youth trying to revive what she’d caught 😂
Problem is, along with catching mice and rats, cats that wander freely also pounce on birds, and they can decimate bird populations. Hope you were successful reviving some of her feathered offerings.
@@Nilguiri I think the problem is that auto-correct/predictive-text could have erroneously changed "spayed" to "spade". It happens a lot to many people, but then people like you immediately jump on the "ThEy MuSt Be StOoPiD" train instead of thinking "Maybe auto-correct, maybe they could be dyslexic or maybe English is not their native language etc etc". I think I've found the REAL problem...🤔 It's actually a shovel! LMAO🤣
@@cufflink44 Yes, by instinct and eons of evolution, cats are carnivores. We adult humans do not fear the domestic tabby cat because we are so much bigger than they, so they do not see us as prey (unless they find us dead). We rightly fear bigger "cats" such as lions, tigers, cougars, leopards and panthers.
I know the point of this charming vid is the kitty's eyes opening, but at 1:01 I was taken aback at the colour of the mother's eyes - an extraordinary almost turquoise blue! I've never seen that with a ginger coat. These 2 are heartwarmers ❤❤😸😸🐾🐾
"Cuter than the kitten". XD. Wtf. Cats are like flowers. They are at the peak of beauty when they have blossomed, yes. Which is about after more than 6 months/one year, continuing the age. The fur gets even prettier, and have blossom out and at the peak length. The nails don't show anymore at the paws that covers them later on, etc. The sounds are developed etc etc. The eyes are just one of the things, so of course a blossomed cat is "more" beautiful, but DAMN what stupid comment you just pooped out. Kitten as adult cats are both cute, and just because the kitten has not blossomed yet, does not make it less "cuter". XD
Lovely Mimi looks very proud and tired at the same time that her precious bundle of joy has opened his eyes. There is no denying the love and care Mimi has for her baby 🥰🥰💝💝💖💖😻😻🌈🌈
Mimi is so proud of her little baby, who is still walking and walking. She grooms it and strokes him, she is fully recovered from her pain. Little kitty is not hungry but went to find a place to sleep. Baby has his head with some of the colours of Mimi. Big daddy thank you for being always there to help Mimi and kitty in these difficult past days, I think you endured more than anyone. Now you can rest and be happy as we are all happy for this adorable beautiful family.❤❤❤❤
