She called an hour before her life was taken and if the dispatchers would've taken their jobs more seriously, her death could've been prevented, which is negligence on behalf of the dispatchers and I would hire an attorney to sue. They deserve to be sued and fired. They were completely useless in this case.
Yes dispatch has gotten so bad it is ridiculous we call y’all for help and dispatch always fells us and most of them are rude as hell don’t do shit to the point you feel you got to take care of it your self as the community we are not protected mean while police cruise around making bucks sick of it.Rip your daughter 🙏
"he shot my grandma" "okay, what did he do to your grandma" "he has a gun" "okay but what did he do to your grandma" this dispatcher clearly was never taught to listen for context clues .....
They probably didn’t take her seriously because they can’t hear any shots etc also. She didn’t sound panicked or anything. If you listen to the calls. You can tell they didn’t take her seriously. She sounds too calm and like it isn’t urgent. Like someone calling just to talk. It’s not right but I can sort of see why they wanted to ask questions because I watched a documentary that stated they get too many prank calls which wastes a lot of time and money.
Her: "He just shot my grand mama. He just shot my grand mama." Dispatcher: He just did what to your grand mama? Ma'am...MA'AM... Then she tried to file a report and that dispatcher was giving her the 3rd degree. I swear comprehension and helping ain't some of these dispatchers calling. Clock out and go home before yall get somebody else's baby killed
They most definitely failed her. What is wrong with these dispatchers??? They don't be understanding. Asking the same questions when we all could hear the conversation just as clear as day. Omg!! So sad! I pray for this family.
The problem is these are the same people that screaming to defund the police and then complain when there's no police officers to help them make up your mind what do you want
@@kitingalla2826 The reason they should be is bc they system doesn't treat their citizens equally. This is an example. Had this situation happened in a different community an officer would have been there within 5 minutes.
I'll never forget when Derrick broke in my house, and dragged me from the bathroom through the living room and kitchen, down the four steps to my room by my hair.I was so tired of being abused and tortured my whole life,I told him he was gonna have to kill me,and he tried. For two hours I fought for my life.I have a restraining order everytime the police came they let him right back out.Even fought the police once. After those two hours was up,he left my house and called me a crazy b...I've been single for over 4 years now,no way am I going through that again.Im sorry this happened to your family
I am so sorry that you had to go through that. No one deserves to be made to fear for their lives like that, especially not in the comfort of their own home.
Your ordeal was heartbreaking as well. Thanks for sharing. Some of us aren’t as strong as we’d like to be. This is why owning guns to help protect us if the police that are getting billions of our tax paying dollars can’t then defunding the police isn’t the wrong option. 💙
@Blaze Blaze it’s people like you that make victims not wanna say anything. Do you see what leaving got them??? They have to be careful. It’s not easy to just leave. The other young lady is dead. He tried to kill her. Look how many times he got out after reports were filed and attacks happened. Sure…she should’ve just left. Poor woman would’ve been dead too smh
That ratchet azz dispatcher should've been fired. I pray she's been fired. Insane. Poor baby was definitely failed and it should be some consequences and repercussions
as a former police woman listening to this dispatcher infuriates me! what a disgrace! SHAME ON YOU! RIP Queen ....that monster is rotting in hell! BOTH DISPATCHERS ARE A DISGRACE!
I agree both dispatchers were bad. The first one was deaf i guess because she kept repeating the same thing to the caller and the 2nd one was accusing her of being around the man as if the caller was purposely hanging out with him vs being basically kidnapped by him. RIP to the victim/caller.
This is so tragic… About a month ago I was getting ready for work around 4am as normal. Finally when I was dressed i headed towards the front of my house and my camera alerted me of movement at my front door… most of the time it’s only the wind. But this particular morning that wasn’t the case. There a man walking around my house with his hands in his pants. Literally just pacing back and forth. I ran to my bedroom got in my closet and called 911. This is NO LIE I was on the phone with dispatch for 27 minutes. My friend happened to text me during all of this. And I told him what was happening. My friend made it to my house BEFORE the police did……. It’s not a dispatch problem it’s a entire police station problem and MOST of all a color problem that depends on how quickly the police responds to the caller.
Damn I'm glad you are ok, blessing to your friend who didnt hesitate to get there 💪🏾. Hopefully you will be unlocked and loaded just in case something should try to come across you again with bad intentions.
This is becoming a daily occurrence. Ladies, if you can't depend on law enforcement (and in most cases you cannot) it's time to take self defense classes, or arm up and learn to shoot. I know what it's like to be in an abusive situation for many years, but I was a fighter and after the 1st arrest when he came right back home, I got serious about my own protection until I could get away from him with the kids. Even if all you have is a baseball bat and a butcher knife if you all are fighting, it gives you a chance. My condolences to this family! 😢
That is right. I been in one but I took him back for what. And ask for help please , if you take him back and he keep putting hands on you. Yes don't ask for him, from family, tha law ,or anybody , realize why you accepted that, kick ass and get the fuck out and never go back... I blame no one but self, I love self, have lord on my team, prayers to all women.
Well, with limited resources, I don't blame the. dispatcher. Officers should be sent to help real victims not people who bring problems on themselves. She picked that loser.
@@kymberlipomerants5520 they're not understanding which operators are which. The lady who was bn smart with her was from a different time. The operator from the night of the tragedy is the other lady that said they didn't have a call from her which is the second lady👌🏽🤭🤔
The condescending 911 dispatcher was out of line & needs to be fired. The way people are treated in the midst of domestic violence is disgusting. Why was she talking to her like that? The victim is more respectful than I would have been in that situation. May she rest in peace.
Although, the dispatcher is wrong. Law enforcement, judges & lawyers, social workers often times have that same view point. As I recall a judge telling an individual that individual that file protection orders, then don’t follow the order, allow the abuser back or drop the order, then come running back to re-open the case. Makes it harder for a real victim. Then again many don’t understand the pressure some DV victims are in. Some are forced to go to court and put on a smiling face and drop the order.
@@lashurediscussion4970 It doesn't matter that was not the dispatchers place . Her place is to take the call, try to calm down the situation and send law enforcement. The dispatcher was right but it was not appropriate
This is so sad. Since when are 911 dispatchers counselors? She should be fired. Don't blame the victim and now this young lady is dead. This is so frustrating and scary. We really are not protected at all! My condolences to the family.
But see these are the same people of that screen for help from the police are the ones they were screaming to defund them so make up your mind which one do you want you can't have it both ways
@@unknown-vh7uj no she shouldn't be! This young lady did everything she was supposed to within the law! How was she supposed to control him violating the protective order! They should fire her & lock her up! She went waaay above her $12 an hour @ss pay grade!
@@kitingalla2826 nobody in this situation have said anything abt defunding the police. So why assume such! You making that moot statement is like punching the air! 🙄 "the same people", cut it out now your racism is showing.
They're not counselors but to be honest she was being real and calling her out on her sheit. HTF you file a protective order then still hang around this man?
This is awful and very disturbing! These dispatchers need their lives checked, sued and training!! I'm appalled at the questioning during this women's time of need.😡🤬
Exactly I mean I can understand the first and second times but a third for no ma’am she shouldn’t of had to do that the cops while she was on the phone with the dispatcher should’ve already been on their way
I cannot fathom dialing 911 for assistance, only to be ridiculed & have my integrity & rationality questioned. Nor could I fathom the operator who is trained 2 listen & respond appropriately disregard & deviate from that task. This is such an important role 2 uphold. These two 911 operators took a judgemental and lackluster approach in their duties. Despicable... R.I.P. young woman... 🤨🤦♂️
@@nowirehangers2815 He invited himself around when according 2 the authorities, he forced her n2 a vehicle against her will. She then contacted police. You're digging hard aren't you???... 🤨
These dispatchers should also stand trial. They’re incompetent and some don’t even care. Some are also motivated by racial prejudice and serve communities they don’t even care about …
Wow. That dispatch person gaslighting her after she was kidnapped by him. Wow. Disgusting. Bless her soul. I hope the family does get justice. She did everything in her power and was ignored and neglected. SMH
She was clearly in distress, yet the 911 operator acted more like she was listening to the details of a horror movie, rather than focusing on DOING. HER. JOB!!!
I would've expected the dispatcher to direct her to find a locked room in the house, or at least one she could have barricaded, like a bathroom or closet. if she called an hour before that means she had enough time to do something like that. it is really the dispatcher's job to think objectively in these situations because the victim oftentimes doesn't have the presence of mind to act in their own best interests and needs simple, direct instructions on how to prevent themselves from further danger. it wasn't as if the victim was screaming, incoherent or belligerent - she was calm up until the moment of death, so it would have been a lot easier to hear her and to direct her. she was definitely failed by all involved in this situation.
It is very heartbreaking….but I have to say…..black women need to stop dating criminals!!! The man was in jail for a sex crime. This breaks my heart. We have to stop making these black men “victims of the system “ because what ends up happening is that women keep assuming that these men were railroaded or just need a good women to make them want to do better. She should have never gave this man the time of day. My ladies…..file an order of protection and get a gun!! We have to protect ourselves.
First of all, that domestic violence counselor should have been fired or taken off the hotline and retrained. Who the hell blames the victim in domestic violence situations? Horrible! Anyone who clearly understands the cycle of abuse would responded in a different manner. Also, shout out to 911 for prioritizing this call, another failed moment, smdh. God help all victims of DV.
God does protect victims of dv, it is called a handgun license & target practice! If he or she doesn't understand an Order of Protection they can be the 1st Target! The end.
@@wildchild1427 when it's your time to go, no gun, PO, or whatever can prevent your life from ending. All of our days are numbered. We just don't know who, how, what, or when.
@@SirSmizzi oh okay, well now that makes more sense. It just seems that there's a disconnect somewhere being that either the police takes too long or don't come at all. These stories just breaks my heart to hear.
The dispatcher was telling the truth ..maybe it’s not her place .. my mom and cousin were both in abuse relationship… they call the police on their spouse then a few days later they are back with the abuser … keep others out of your business if you are going to continually go back …
So often dispatchers sound really cynical, almost like they think their job is a joke or they think the callers are a joke. I have a feeling it reveals the culture of their police department.
This is why law abiding citizens need to get the proper paperwork and training, and then arm themselves. This was horrible, and there are too many stories like this. We have to defend ourselves like no one is coming, because sometimes they don't. God be with the family, and rest in peace to the woman. Be safe everyone 🙏💕.
@@uwuiseeyouuwu2819 🤣🤣🤣 But there are laws in each state regarding having a gun without being licensed. Yep you are correct you can purchase weapons online. Please make sure you are legal to carry.
I have a daughter is going through something similar I pray that she makes the right decision and may God bless your daughter and family to get through it blessings
The dispatchers were terrible. Especially the second one. She didn’t ask to be ridiculed. Just do your job and help the girl. Smh. The law didn’t protect her. So sorry she lost her life. 💔
This is what happens when seconds matter, the police will not get their in time. You must save yourself, no one is coming to save you when seconds matter. You are your own best defense, get a gun learn how to use it and go practice at the gun range.
Having a gun in the home increases your risk of being shot by the same gun, you can Google the stat. For someone like this who stalks you and is violent, police need to be involved ASAP and the person has to be locked up. They will hide, they will deceive, they will stalk and wait for the second you are alone, sleeping, off guard or trying to protect someone else to get you. Not saying self-defense is wrong but the whole 'get a fire arm!!' responses ignores several glaring realities that victims face
I experienced the same attitude from an officer as I entered the police station with my 2 children i had just escaped a night of physical abuse from my ex with visible bruises on my body but I was only "blamed" it was at that moment that I lost hope . I pray that this family gets justice and be able to help others whom may be in this situation.
Try being beat to within an inch of your life and stabbing the perpetrator but you’re the one arrested with visible cuts, bruises scratches yet not only are you arrested but the officers didn’t even take your statement or render aid just threw some handcuffs on you
Same here.for me,it was an assault and rape from someone I didn't know. I went to the police after the hospital and as I was in a mask to cover my swollen face, they asked if I was drunk or not.i was mad
They probably don't care and feel you picked him. Plus most women cry and holler then go back to the man. They probably get tired of getting in people's foolishness and personal problems...
@@michealtyler9702 The key word in your response is " MOST" not all women return. I've called 911 several times as a mandated reporter and they do ask a lot questions. Also, the professionalism is non existent in this generation. I'm thankful I was raised with old school family members. Courtesy, respect, and do an honest days work.
That depends on what they are responding to. If it's an immediate threat or a break-in. Just because they ask a lot of questions sometimes does not mean that they delay sending the responders until they get answers to nonpressing questions. They should not do that. Asking a bunch of questions from someone in an immediate emergency is just dense. No way that, that is standard practice. She had called an hour before the call that was played.
@@kemunapeace2441 Before they launch into a bunch of repetitive questions, they should tell the caller "I have police/fire/ambulance on the way. Let me get some more information from you." Is that so hard?
The 911 operator was keeping it real and women that love thugs should listen to every word the 911 operator told this young lady it just might save their life why take out a personal protection order and you still hanging around the thug
I understand her pain, she is not lying because I been through that. The police not doing their job, taking domestic violence as a joke now I know how Tracy Thurman felt. Thank God for giving me the strength to keep fighting for justice, I'm so cautious of who I get involved with. I know all the red flags now.
Whoever those 911 operators were especially the one questioning her about being around him and allowing him to do this to her need to be fired!!! Her saying that to her when she's asking for help infuriates me. She had a restraining order the man grabbed her basically kidnapped her and the 911 dispatcher is saying why'd you allow it, I'm so infuriated right now because I've been in a position where someone is abusive. She was taking the right steps to protect herself!

The government runs background checks on the same bm that bw date and bw are still being toe tagged. Running a background check is not always guaranteed.
Dispatchers and officials like THESE are an embarrassment to the duty and public education! NEITHER of them handled their responsibility or the job according to reasonable protocol! VERY disturbing!
Virginia , because she was a person of color. Domestic violence happens in all ethnic groups, regardless of age, profession or even financial standing. My prayers go out to anyone that has endured domestic violence and have no real way out, or response, when they call 911. What happened to this victim was more than tragic . My condolences to her family and friends.
I remember my brother was having a mental illness crises. He had no idea who I was, he got into the house and wanted to hurt me. Eventually I got him out of the house. But I had to talk to him. But taking to him was crazy because he was not in his right mind. I called the police at 7:30pm..I was told there was no one. Between me and my family, friends, and the VA calling on my behalf, 27 calls were placed. I had to wait for a shift change. 9 police showed up at 12:45am...I literally had to keep talking to someone who lost complete touch with reality. It's was sad and scary, he use to be in the Marines stationed in Iraq. One dispatcher told me whatever you have to do to protect yourself do it.. And I could have, but it was my brother. I would have been devastated.. But this dispatcher failed to get her the help she needed..
This is exactly why I don’t even wanna date anyone because this world we live in is way too evil & dangerous, like no one can be trusted ....if you really loved someone u could never hurt them, ppl who do this are very sick & cold hearted , like she didn deserve this or her grandmother smhh...I’m so sorry this happen to you Queen, I’m so sorry for the families loss, sending my deepest condolences & sympathy/ God bless the family , loved ones , friends & all who loved her , Rest In Peace Queen💔🥺❤️❤️🙏🏽👑.....

FKING great point. For me it's better to protect your child and yourself and if you pass you better have had a will with a guardian and have died or been jailed then to have a mofo abuser your baby and yourself. #dvWomenArmUp
This is minuscule when a person only allows you 2 see who they want you 2 see. You can be with an individual for 20 years & think you kno 'em. They can flip on you like a coin. She got away & sought help because the person she was really *dating* showed up...
These men were mask 😷 most of them have narcissistic personalities everyone loves them they protray themselves as nice guys even fooling the woman by the time they find out they have fallen In love that when the cycle of abuse starts love Is powerful
This is so sad. I had a bad experience with 911 when i was a kid my older brother was having a seizure and the 911 operator told me stop playing on the phone and i was only 9 years old. So its been like this for a while now. RIP to that Queen and thank God the grandmother survived. He was a coward.
The 911 operators asked to many questions before the police can get to someone house. They need to be fried and that is not her job to asked these questions.😡
The April call dispatcher needs to be let go. Your responsibility is to assist in the event of emergency, not attempt your life’s dream of tough mom life coach. Completely unprofessional especially considering many abusers stalk their victims day in and day out.
They need to quit asking 100 fucking question before a cop is dispatched the only thing they really should ask is “WHAT IS YOUR EMERGENCY and WHAT IS YOUR ADDRESS”
This man was a convicted sex offender. Why would anyone have a relationship with him? This is sadly how most of these relationships turn out. LADIES, DO A BACKGROUND CHECK before getting involved with a man.
Because women don't go looking at registries because should women be doing an extensive background check before dating? What happens if it's a fake name he gave her..... Because abusers manipulate. Because you need to understand that it is not her fault.
