It's still shocking and shameless. My uncle remarried 3 months after his wife died of cancer at age 36. We all realized he had been having an affair before she died and it split the whole family up. His kids hated their father and the new stepmother and it broke their family up. My parents refused to have anything to do with him after this....he hardly ever visited his dying wife who we cared for in our home. The poor lady kept asking "where's my cowardly husband"?
