Perfectly timed video as I’m a M of the G coming up in Nov. I can’t say enough about that inexpensive little hair scrunchie “friend”. You’re correct in that it looks better with lots of use. When it was new, I sprayed it lightly with dry shampoo to cut down on the synthetic shine. I’ve been using mine for over a year now and just give it a freshening up shake-shake and it’s good to go! You’ve given me confidence to use it on our special upcoming day, and now I’m looking for the perfect flower to clip on for this perfect style. Thank you KerryLou! 🌺

Some years ago we had a triple wedding, two of our four kids and our silver wedding anniversary. I sewed my dress myself, a 1880 evening gown from heavy dark blue silk tafeta. I have been binging quite a lot of your videos lately as I am going to attempt to do my own makeup for my step-daughter's wedding. It is down to just under 4 weeks time now, so lots of practice happening. I have my dress, my two pairs of shoes, a coat - (the wedding date is just 10 days into Spring here in Australia, and the city it is being held in can get quite cold), and my clutch all picked out. Hi Helen, thanks so much for your well wishes! Panda eyes - yes I know them! I find that when I wear the Lashblast by Covergirl I do not get Panda eyes, but it is challenging to remove when you want to. I also avoid mascara on the lower lashes when it's hot out. Good luck! xx

I found it helpful to forget you're the mother of the bride or groom, and all that implies for the dress. Your friend should look for a dress that flatters her figure, is in her color palette, and is comfortable! and if it doesn't seem "fancy" enough, dress it up with accesories. Has she looked at Johnny Was? They have beautiful long flowy dresses perfect for the beach, also Farm Rio. Depends on her style. I wish her luck! xx
